Is it a bad sign that your application was submitted at the same time as those who have already received interview offers, but you have not heard anything from the school?

I'm in the same position with a few schools. I really think it has a bit of randomness to it. It's also just the beginning of August, I don't think we should think to much of it and become paranoid. Save that till October or so.

Don't dwell on it. L-rd knows how these schools process all these applications but it certainly doesn't mean you have any less of a chance of receiving a pre-December interview. Last year I panicked when others got interviews and I didn't, but they eventually came.

Does anyone know whether it matters which month we schedule our interview in? As in would our chances of getting in go down if we scheduled it for November instead of Sept/Oct?

Since it's rolling admission I think the earlier the interviews the better, but not 100% sure

I submitted most of my apps about a week ago and my transcript was verified today. I only got an email to pay the secondary fee from VCU but didnt hear from anyone else. When will I hear from other schools? and what happens after verification?

It takes time for schools to receive your application if they only upload them certain days of the week like nova for example

It still says "none" on the AADSAS
It has all the dates for when my stuff was received and a completion date on the MUSC applyweb account

A lot of the schools will accept your Unofficial Score Report - I took mine on July 31st, scanned my score report in, and sent it to all of my schools the same day. Most of them accepted them and updated my application, but obviously some of them went with the "We do not accept anything unless its from AADSAS (Official Score Reports).
 
I applied to schools like uconn and vcu that started giving interviews out a few weeks ago right in the beginning of june...since I havent heard back yet is it more likely that theyre not going to interview me?

I applied to Penn, Columbia, Harvard, Temple, Maryland, and Rutgers. I don't think any of them accept unofficial scores.

you're freaking out!?! I'm freaking out haha. my committee letters aren't in yet because my school is freaking slow!!

Have any of you found a list of the schools that accept unofficial DAT scores? Some of the schools' websites say that they don't but that was maybe one or two.

I applied to UB, Case, Michigan, UConn, Columbia, New England, Pitt, and Stony Brook.

None of the schools would accept unofficial. I remember having to go in and request for my DENTPIN to connect with my official scores via email in order to turn the status of all of the schools to "complete/under review"

If it makes u feel better, Im in the exact same boat as you!!! I took mine on the 19th as well and am STILL waiting for the official score to be uploaded :nailbiting:. Hopefully we still have a good chance at getting interviews ...
