Honestly, who knows?? Some schools might see the update and process your application as if it were newly submitted and put you at the bottom of the pile again. It may not make a difference to some other schools who either look at applications completely randomly or process the update as simply an update. Maybe some schools will put you at the top of the list for what ever reason. It's all speculation. :bang:

I can't even figure out when interview decisions will come for my application, which was submitted normally and has no special circumstances.

I just called a few schools and most of them said that because my application is already complete, I will remain complete and under review. If the grades majorly effect my GPA (which they do) it will be up to the committee whether to wait for my transcripts or not. :shrug:

I understand that one of my applications was placed on hold for an after-Dec interview. So they reviewed my application, said it was not good enough for a pre-Dec interview and to wait till after. Its interesting.
