Wow. Are you Canadian/ International and which schools did you apply to? I havent received an invite in a month and my stats are above those that did receive invites, its pretty confusing. Side note though, I'd give up the FA cups to see them in Champions League 🙁

I'm actually a US resident. Applied to 6 schools, 2 of them are my state schools and one of them sent me an invite.

It really seems this year is much more structured in the way the interviews are distributed amongst the applicants. The only real trend I've seen is people with 22+ AA seem to be in the first round of interviews and are accumulating 5+ interviews each this early in the cycle. Doesn't seem like the time you submitted your application means much anymore either. Judging by previous threads, it didn't seem to be this way in previous years, but I guess that can be attributed to the new system. However, I do firmly believe the people on this site with the incredibly high stats are in the absolute minority. I try to not think that everybody applying has these stats, but the selectivity bias on this site can be quite demoralizing. I'm sure others feel this way too, but we have to stay positive !

You shouldn't worry, you did the right thing with your stats! I submitted my apps before taking the DAT (which I thought I would just do average and by no means close to a 24 AA). I just wanted to be on the safer end.

NYU has only released one batch of invites, so I would say go for that. I know Pitt and Buffalo have sent out a couple of batches thus far.

I feel you. My science gpa is also 3.17 I applied to 15 and haven't heard from any either! App in end of July with a 22 AA and 23 TS

Mainly it’s because I chose the schools I was applying to before I took the DAT. I was aiming for a 22 but wasn’t sure if I’d make it. Also all the people that are applying that I know personally, are like super applicants, and not just stats-wise. So I kinda thought I would be on the middle side of the application pool.

Yeah, me too.. if it might make ppl feel better, based on the ADEA stats for last cycle, Buffalo interviewed ~ 1 out of 9 applicants, which is not that bad compared to other schools (UM was ~1 out of 10).

Apparently some say soft rejection but some have also received interviews after receiving it so its like a no for right now i guess with a greater chance of no period lol

edit: Don't bother calling, not able to give personalized feedback, said it could have been anything and that they will review the applications a couple more times. I'd be curious to see if anyone was rejected and did not receive this email and if theres any real specificity with it..oh well guess its just another waiting game

For some of the schools you applied to your states are a little low, but for some they are right on with everyone else. I would wonder about the personal statement and if that wasn't eye catching enough. Try not to get depressed about it, there is still time to receive an interview invite.
