Still going through applicant I assume but they get back to you pretty quickly.I've seen people have gotten invites as well as deferred for Iowa. What if you haven't received either? Probably still going through the applications?

Have many people gotten interview invites to Minnesota? I think I have only seen 1 or 2 posts? Its my top choice and I had an orthodontist offer to write a letter of rec to their dean and a couple professors. He said that he is pretty good buddies with members on their admissions committee..
I thankfully received an interview on Monday, but I haven't heard of many others receiving interviews yet. I would say give them till mid-August and if you haven't heard anything back by like the 20th, then get the orthodontist to send that letter of rec on your behalf!Have many people gotten interview invites to Minnesota? Oh I had him submit it about two weeks ago! haha Wasn't gonna take the chance of missing out on the opportunity to have someone with close ties to the admissions committee write them a personal letter..I thankfully received an interview on Monday, but I haven't heard of many others receiving interviews yet. I'm also from ND.. not instate but at least I'd have reciprocity..I’m an in state student and haven’t heard anything yet from U of M besides a confirmation of application. Hope to hear something by end of next week.
One of my friends he got one December interview for 2023 class, but he felt he did not go well with the interview. When we graduated, I thought that he would retake DAT and apply next cycle. But, he received 2 more interviews in February and got in one of them. Right now he is D3. So I am sure that receiving a invitation should not be an issue as long as you are well-rounded applicant and applied reasonably and wisely. It is just a matter of time.In general, how many batches of interviews do schools send out? I am getting a bit nervous since I have yet to receive any.
You also have to remember that this is a COVID application cycle. Things are going to be different and take more time.In general, how many batches of interviews do schools send out? I am getting a bit nervous since I have yet to receive any.
The one that I had was not recorded. If they are using zoom, there is text at the top that says the meeting is being recorded.Does anyone know if virtual interviews will be recorded?
would it make a difference if it was?Does anyone know if virtual interviews will be recorded?
Hello everyone I need some hope!!! I did my DAT yesterday !!! 20 AA/ 22 TS / 20 PAT / 13 RCThey reading was crazy long. I have a 3.8 GPA and I'm doing a master now and I have a lot of shadowing and volunteering hours. I feel with my 13 RC I will be automatically rejected. Anyone got accepted with low RC ? Any advice will appreciated ?![]()
Thank you so much for replying me !! I know this is very low score. I just feel very discouraged and I lost all my chances getting into dental school since this is my third time taking the exam and second applying. In my pervious two attempts I scored better in RC. I have spend alot of money and I feel maybe it isn't never meant for me.I'm sorry but you need to take it again. I've seen people get in with 16-17 but 13 is realistically a long shot. Some schools really value RC because it's an indicator of how well you'll be perceiving information in dental school. Reach out to schools and ask if they have minimum subscore requirements. Best of luck.
