Has anyone who applied relatively late received an interview anywhere?
 
Has anyone heard from NOVA? Have they sent second round of their interviews?

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply.

I did not interview at UIC. They mentioned in the mail that there are lot of applications and my application will not be proceeding in the review process.

Spoke with one of their graduates a year ago who went to the same predoc as me. Great program, they knew their stuff backwards and forwards, the area is pleasant. They said that it was really tough though, barely any free time. However, they did the MDSc. Not sure if the CAGS would be the same. Don't know much beyond that.
 
Anyone know when UIC,Rutgers, Buffalo (Non match) usually get back with acceptances/ rejections post their interview ? Is there a general timeline they follow? Also any idea about number of batches they interview?

I'm in interviews now and from what my attendings tell me, they already know that the people who they interview are going to be periodontists. Programs invite very strong candidates, and even if they dont get in to our program, we know someone will pick them up. We want to see you be intelligent, compassionate, passionate, and not a weirdo.

Buffalo is done and they have replayed by acceptance few days ago

I can't really, I work in a surgery center part time in a hot-spot city so we're asked to not travel unless absolutely necessary.

I heard they already sent their second batch of invites, but I'm not sure how many are they planning to send in the end
