Im going to venture a guess here but Im guessing they stopped calling now...I think they did some of them tonight and will pick up where they left off tomorrow. I really hope thats the case cuz I didnt get a call from Marquette either yet.
 
they didnt call me either... those accepted were either in-state or did a post-undergrad program, so maybe thats all they did today

your statement is slightly incorrect. My friend and I both got in today. He is out of state and I am in state and neither of us did a post grad program. I am guessing they will be making more calls tomorrow morning though
 
i just talked to a bunch more people, no one has heard anything. I am almost positive they have to call tomorrow morning I apologize i feel really bad for stressing everyone else out more. 🙁

thanks man, goodluck tomorrow, I know last year people called at 8 and they were able to find out the news. 👍
 
I am really confused as to why they would only call some of the students today but not others. It seems weird that they would leave others waiting an extra day.

How can we be sure that they didn't call everyone today?

I was accepted to Nova Dental Class of 2014 3 years ago (Dual Admit) and it was an amazing feeling.

I'm excited to know who my classmates will be!!! 🙂 😀

There are many people on the admissions committee. Each person was probably assigned X number of people to call. One person probably got an early start. An interesting thing would be to see if maybe the people called were all close in alphabetical order although the applicants could have been divided in other ways...

According to predents, they only called 4 people today.. I'm POSITIVE that isn't the entirety of the calls for Dec 1st! Not sure how they picked who would be called when, but I think everyone still has a great chance of getting good news tomorrow 🙂 Good luck!!

Hey,
we can't be sure that they didn't call everyone today. I agree that it seems really odd to call some of the students but not others. However, I know a few people that went there, and they have done it in previous years. She (my friend) was called on Nov 29th, actually, and her roommates (also dental students) were all called Dec 1. I wonder if they call the the top 20 or 30 who ranked the highest the day before, in hopes that they will keep Marquette in line when their acceptances start rolling in-- Idk, just a guess. I would be extremely surprised if they called all 80 students... that takes TIME!

This sounds completely neurotic, but how long were those of you that were accepted on the phone with Jennifer?
 
Not everyone is on pre-dents. More than 4 people have replied to this thread saying they got a call. I also know someone else who they called who is not on pre-dents. Its not that reliable.

but only 42 of the applicants have pre-dents profiles 🙁 I agree though, I think were still in the running. It does seem kinda' random (who they called)... no specific locations, interview dates, etc. You guys must be the creme de le creme 🙂
 
Me too, just got an email from Dr Kasberg at Indiana!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Got a phone call at 5:26pm from Mr. Trecek...accepted at Marquette!! 🙂

I like how no one has yet to follow the organized, blue type, proscribed method of posting useful info 🙂 I guess I can't blame anybody, I'm sure from all the excitement, That would be the last thing on my mind.

Just got a call from my interviewer at UF...accepted...WOW what a great feeling to have at least one under my belt
