Accepted to ECU!!! Phone Call and Email. It took me 4 years to finally get in. So anyone who doesn't make it this year just keep working!
 
I received a call from the director of admissions at Detroit Mercy around 10AM Eastern Time letting me know I was accepted!:soexcited:

I'm also sane when I'm insane 😛

My goal for today is to be as level-headed and cheerful as possible. I do not know what's going to come next, but I'm not going to be an extremist at this point. Good news is coming soon though...I'm sure of it!
 
I am very surprised. I got home from class and had a UPS 2nd day air package at my place from Penn. Acceptance plus dean's scholarship. This was after being dissapointed all day at the waitlist from UConn. 🙂
 
Declined by UMKC via AADSAS 12/1.

Did not see that one coming; sad day. Oh well, so is life.

I put all my eggs in the UMKC basket. NYU has my file but I never sent them money to get started on me. Do you guys think it's too late to do any good over there?

Just called Midwestern Az

Today they gave out 70 of their seats and the next 40 will be given later. They told me I am on hold for interview so I suppose that is good.

Where did you interview besides midwestern and that school you got rejected from? Itll work out for you!

Nowhere..

UMKC was my state school and I had so much going for me there that I really don't understand how I was rejected. Same goes with Amped.

I also applied to Midwestern AZ, Midwestern IL, UoP, and NYU.

Midwestern AZ says I'm on hold for interview

Midwestern IL told me that they'll let me know one way or the other when a decision is made

UoP I didn't call.. it's a long shot

Just called NYU and got a lecture about how I should have sent them a money order. She was sweet but now I feel more like crap. NYU was originally my number 1 but with in state tuition and bridges I had made, UMKC was bumped up. I told her this and that UMKC should have been a shoo in which is why I didn't sent the money out. Hindsight is 20/20. I've got a check in the mail next day air now so let's hope it gets me there. 👍

Dental school admissions really is a crapshoot. Sorry to hear about your rejection. I hope you get some good news with NYU. The cycle isn't over yet! 🙂
