I'm going through an internal struggle with what to do about K-State. Honestly, I think I should decline my spot and even if I don't get accepted to UCVM (which I haven't heard from yet) or WCVM, then I will re-apply next year. I made it a lot farther than I thought I ever would and with the tuition difference (K-State being ~$44 K and UCVM/WCVM being $8-10K), I don't think I can give up on these schools even if it means re-applying. I'll get my mind made up over the weekend.

Emiloo, the Canadian system is ******ed in that we're a few months behind on everything --- app deadlines, interviews and final status updates. Kinda hard to plan your life at this point eh? haha

I had filled out my fasfa, but did you apply for loans? I'd definitely need them but I'm not sure if I should start applying for them now. Would it be too late to apply for them once (if) I start school?

I have only done my fasfa. I am waiting to hear back from the U of M if any other paperwork is recommended. But with the holiday this week I am guessing I won't hear back for a little while.

Bahhh. Being on the wait list just makes me want to tear my hair out. Being #2 on a wait list that isn't likely to move isn't any better!! Reading this thread almost makes me feel more hopeful than I should. 😛
