This is the official countdown thread for the August 2006 MCAT score release. Scores are supposed to be released on October 14th.

I have a love hate relationship with Lost. They play way too many filler episodes.

next question in effort to keep this thread going:

for those that are going to release their scores on SDN, anybody going to make their mdapplicants page after they receive their scores? or wait until may/june when we submit AMCAS?

Yeah, I agree to an extent. I don't want everything solved all at once. I like that it keeps me guessing and wanting more (I normally don't get impatient and give up on things I like). But then they do drag certain things out too much. Season 3 should be awesome!

Looks like this thread is becoming and Lost/Countdown thread lol.

I'm not in school for another week yet so I figured I'd add to the countdown thread.... Summer is winding down and it's unusually cold.... I've gotten back to working on my serve and backhand which severely suffered this year and am getting my new mac up to speed with all my preferences.....

The MCAT feels like it was 9 years ago... roughly lol
and the scores seem ages away as well.... but my Girlfriend gets back from England on sunday and her birthday is the following weekend, with class on top of that I imagine time will eventually pass more quickly

i was thinking the same thing! but with school in session, i feel like i barely even have the time to check SDN anymore... so different from the summer. i wonder if i would've studied more/better if i didn't spend so much time on SDN.

it was same length, although it WAS shorter than the paper test b/c we could start as soon as we got there (7:30), choose the length of our breaks, and there was less overhead (proctors reading instructions, etc.).

if my score is what I expepcted I'll probably make a page... if they aren't, I'm starting an immediate multi-day, multi-state binge that I probably won't survive 👍

alright so I had my physics professor tutor my buddy and me over the summer for the MCAT. he was a princeton review instructor for 4 years. The first thing he said to us on our first day of tutoring was 'This test is the hardest thing you have ever attempted to accomplish in your life; treat it like it."

those words stuck with me until test day, now I want my scoooooooooooooresssss........... 6 weeks is a joke.

YES!!! The 6 week mark!! How hot is that?

They are probably just finishing up the essay grading now. The curves have been generated and the numbers assigned.

Then they will spend five and 1/2 weeks sitting one their bags of money and laughing.

Okay, time for me to chime in on this thread. Been trying to avoid it because I wanted to put the MCAT behind me, but enough is enough. I've been waiting patiently but now I can't take it much longer! The suspense is killing me: what are my digits?!

Couldn't we just find out our raw scores per section as an appetizer? I hate filling out secondaries for schools with high MCAT averages without even an inkling of idea of how I did. I feel like I did okay, but for all I know I got a 21. Or a 42.

A couple things with April thread vs. this one:

People were going crazy cuz they didn't tell them until a week before when scores would come out.


The people were out for summer vacation and secondaries hadn't come out yet.

The first month, they couldnt even submit AMCAS so they didn't have much to do.

I have an idea. I say we submit all of our applications without even looking at our scores, we'll let the interview invitations speak for themselves... indeed.
