Yes. But really... The verbal... egggg... I don't even care about the rest of the test anymore.... If I beat an 8 on verbal I'll cry myself joyfully to sleep for the next week.

i thought it was kinda tough, but im pretty mellow so i'm jsut basing that on the fact i went back and checked some of my answers and i had to change liek three form one passage.
The VR didnt seem too bad but i've already programmed myself to not pay attention to them.
was ASL the hardest or was it the damn mountain monks

wow what could be worse than getting your mcat score on friday the 13th? better find my rabbit's foot, my four leaf clover, my lucky rock, my lucky charms.

I have been obsessing about my scores...and I stumbled on this thread. I'm glad I'm not the only one who checks the AAMC website everyday!

Is There A Certain Way Med Schools Average Your Gpa? Like Do They Take The Overall Gpa Or Do They Have A Formula??

TMDSAS uses basically the same formula for overall GPA but the science includes some courses that AMCAS doesn't. I forget which.

I will probably look at my scores privately (hard to do when you live with someone) and then either laugh excitedly or cry if I need to retake. Then, I'll let my boyfriend in on the news. So you guys think they'll come out Friday night?

ill be having some sort of gathering on the 13th, possibyl create some drinking game so where everytime you refresh the screen you have to take a drink. That way if my scores sucks it wont hit me till the morning and if the scores are awesome then I can continue on.

I hope they're out on the 13th. I think I'm going to spend that whole weekend on the AAMC website just hitting the refresh button! I guess I'll probably tell my boyfriend first, then parents, then SDN. Aaahhh...I hate waiting!

Hi everyone! I am so excited that I found this website😀 . I am so incredibly anxious about getting back my MCAT scores. I don't know how I'm going to wait the next 25 days, 4 hours, 46 minutes, 4...3..2... etc seconds until October 14th.

why must they include math, i got a C in my Calc 2 class it brings my science GPA way down. is there any truth to the whole last 2 years of school getting preference over the overall GPA sometimes?

How many days left until the score comes out? I took the MCAT twice: April 06 and August 05.....The waiting for the score sucks...especially if you are applying to med school at the same time.

Well I think having a drinking game the day the scores are released is by far the best idea I've ever heard. I know if my score is bad I don't want to give a damn, so being drunk out of my mind will help for that. If it's a good score, hell that will just make me want to party on. Sounds good, I'll be doing that and hopefully I'll be in Miami doing it.
As far as the test goes, I had AN. Man, the verbal killed me at the end and I was mad because I do so well on verbal. I will be happy if I got a 10. Physics, ****.....but Bio went great. I just hope I made no bubbling errors. I'm going to be insane trying to look at my computer screen to see my score.

how is that possible? don't schools need your mcat to review you file? (i'm assuming dimness is waiting for august mcat like the rest us?)

Hey guys, I could use some help figuring things out. I took all AAMC practice tests to prep for the Aug. 2006 MCAT, and my practice test scores, in order, were 30, 30, 31, 32, 26.

You can see why that last score, a week before the real test, has me worried about my actual score. Should I be worried about a score less than 30?

you never know. you could have done well or poorly... tough to say, but I have heard the Kaplan exams are supposed to me "harder" than the actual MCAT, although I'm not sure I believe that.

So are we looking at Friday the 13th or Saturday the 14th for the scores? I'm celebrating my 30th b-day on the 14th (it's actually the 9th, but that's a Monday which sucks for everyone), and I'm hoping to have something to celebrate. Knock on wood, 30+ for 30+, 😉 .

Hey, welcome new member! It is automatically calculated for you when they receive your transcripts. Once your primary is processed, it will show up.

I've been in this boat four times. I think schools know I'm at least dedicated to wanting to get in. I guess that's their decision to make. And yes, I'm playing the waiting game.

So who here would scrub toilets in public bathrooms 5 hours a day for 7 days for a 36S? (12 on each section) And pay $100.

Um, that's not bad at all. Have you seen the pre-allo thread asking if you'd eat a foot long poop hot dog to get into your first choice medical school?

As of right now, I really don't want to see my MCAT score. I'm afraid VR got me, badly. 🙁

Call me crazy, but I would scrub public toilets for 7 days and pay the $100, then after that, I would celebrate by eating a foot long poop hot dog to get into medical school, chasing it down with a beer! 😉

weren't your practice scores around that and even higher?


I don't think I would do anything for a particular MCAT score, but an admission to a particular school? I wouldn't rule anything out... that's right, ANYTHING :laugh:

i think scrubbing dirty toilets for a whole week is harder than it sounds. i scrubbed my own toilet at home a few times and it sucks; scrubbing public bathroom toilets would be horrible.

my highest practice score was a 34.

lol yea man, what i'd do to get into a particular school is a whole different topic that probably merits its own thread.
