I remember back in the day when I took my MCAT there was a thread like this that helped the time pass faster. We know that we are all neurotic, but sometimes sharing those neurosis can make things just a little better!

T-minus 36 days...

I took this mess today, and I really wished that when they handed me that sheet of paper after the test it had my score on it. Lucky GRE takers...

I've looked at the NBME website and see no reason why you or any other late June test taker would not be confident in getting his or her score on Weds.

Well people we made it this far. We are now at roughly 24 hours until the big moment!

I agree with the people above about hoping we're busy today, my stomach was in a knot when I woke up this morning.

For those interested, I did a test log in and the website seems to work on the iPhone/iPad. Wasn't able to test the ability to look at our PDF since they aren't posted but it should work fine.

Alright! Sound off everyone how you feeling?

If I had to describe my emotional state in one word, I'd say: Anxious.

Just checking my NBME page and it said something about due to the large number of scores, there may be a delay with loading the scores. If that site crashes tomorrow, well thatd be the icing on the cake.

It's official I had my first nightmare related to opening up my score report and seeing a 200. It's time to end this wait! The NBME would win many hearts and minds if they released early.

I like how they say "If you encounter a delay or an error message, please close the window and try again later that day or night."

Come on NBME, you know everyone is just going immediately starting spamming F5 until the server melts.

not reading through 9 pages of this during my short breaks at the hospital, so could someone tell me when to expect the score report? Is it a known value... like scores come out at 9am or noon.

Also: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! IT'S TOMORROW!!!!

P.S.: Glad to finally know what this score will be.

So i just received this email from my school:

Today we were notified by the NBME that the scores for the majority of examinees who took Step 1 starting in mid-May through late June will be released tomorrow, Wednesday, July 13. Email notifications of score availability will be sent to examinees starting at 11 a.m. CST, but it may take several hours to send all emails. Although they have increased server capacity, over 13,000 students are likely to access the NBME Licensing Examination Services website to retrieve their score reports. It may take you several attempts to retrieve your score from the website.

And best of luck for your result hope you get 288 rather than 188 and match in derma at john hopkins.

It is more like Christmas Eve or any holiday where you know you could get something totally awesome...or you could get socks. Socks are useful and they will help you out, but you probably won't be too excited for them unless you have some sort of foot fetish and they were stolen from a movie star or something.

Poor form hyrule! I'm not really mad about it cause I know that the stress of this mess is effecting us all differently. We all have our own coping reasons.

So I am officially done with work from today and I thought I'd weigh in. Did anybody else actually find today the easiest day of them all? Something about knowing it was less than 24 hours made it not as hard to wait. Of course the stress of waiting has been replaced with the stress of, "Holy crap what if I did terribly!?"

So did anyone else get that e-mail that was referenced a while up by KSDeacon. Doesn't 11 Central sound later than they've sent out e-mails in the past?

I think I have mentally accepted the fact that I will not get my score tomorrow... but that doesn't mean I will not check during lecture tomorrow. I mean is urinary incontinence really that important for the OB shelf exam?

Funny you say that.. apparently it's one of our under-taught topics and one the M3's always report was more important than they expected on the test :laugh:
