I am not sure what the case scenario is---I thought everyone who got invited would read it on the papers that are supposed to get sent to us via snail mail? That's how I found out. Oh well, I was just wondering if anyone knew more about it than I do. 🙂
 
I just rescheduled my Oct 21 interview at MWU for another date so the 21st is now available online if it works out more convienently for someone else.. just a heads up!
 
stony brook for 10/20!! this is one of my top choices since i'm in state for ny 😀 patricia called me this afternoon about the interview and also to schedule. they interview on mondays, thursdays and fridays and you'll be expected to schedule through the phone so check your calendars before you call them back...keep an eye out for a call with the area code 631. good luck guys!
 
received a UNLV invitation for interview today!!! yes!! im going to vegas baby! btw this morning i called them to check on my status, and about 1 hour later they sent me the invitation, weird.

10/13 so far. Still waiting to hear from Creighton, OSU, and OSHU.
 
I got the call from UoP today!:soexcited: Scheduled for October 23.

This is my first interview and at my top choice school!! WoooHooo!!!
 
Western University Oct 3rd! (Phone) Flying to Ontario twice within two weeks 🙁 but yay for the invites!!
 
Hey guys I am new to SDN,
reading this thread I am getting a bit worried. Everyone is getting interviews and I have heard nothing. I don't understand why not, My cGPA is 3.93 and my sGPA is 3.95. TS 20 AA 21 PAT 21 and I got a 29 Ochem, and I have a good deal of volunteer and service work. Any opinions on why I haven't heard a word?

1) Where did you submit your AADSAS?
2) And where did you submit it too?

My AADSAS application was complete in June and I applied to Nova, Case, Pitt, Colorado, UCLA, UCSF, UoP, ASDOH, Harvard, Boston Univ, UCONN, and Univ Washington. All kinds of people have been getting interviews from Case, Nova, UCONN and even a few for UoP, UCSF, ASDOH, and Harvard. I have been informed that the application is complete but none have said anything regarding either interview or rejection

I am a resident of California so I know that means the chances of Colorado and Washington are pretty darn low, but I would still think I'd hear something from the others. All of my letters are compiled into a pre-health committee letter which is in and has been received by AADSAS and the schools

Like the previous poster said, it's still really early in the process.

Will you have a bachelor's by the time you start dental school though?

Yes, I will have a BS in biology in May and I already have a minor in chemistry. I appreciate all the input. I realize its still early but a lot of people are getting a lot of interviews so I just feel like I'm missing something because my numbers seem quite competitive
 
Stony brook by phone today. my roomate( who happens to be my ex GF..yes is awkward at times) got a med school one for stony on the same date so its kinda nice. Commute together.

I applied to four of the same schools as you and have heard nothing yet from any of them. It's still early. Not too worried.
 
For anyone who got calls from Western, what number was shown on your phone? I got several missed unknown calls today and hope they were from Western!
 
GOT UCSF TODAY!!!!! OCTOBER 31st....damnit gonna miss halloween thats gonna suck

AND

GOT UNLV....but will not attend interview
 
USCF (Nov 17) and Harvard (Oct 10) today. neat.

It really doesnt matter when u turned in ur secondary, ur placement of when u get reviewed by adcoms depends on ur aadsas submission date. I submitted my aadsas May 28th, and I sent my secondary August 14th. They started reviewing I think in Late august or early september. I got my invite via email.

i submitted my aadsas 6/18 and mailed my application on 8/11. they notified me by e-mail yesterday at 9:40pm ET.
 
Has anybody heard from BU or Tufts yet?

I received a BU invite today via email! OMG, I had to take deep breaths and almost cried in joy. It was awesome!! This is my first interview ever!!!!, I've been through soo much, I can't believe I received an interview. I've head such great things about BU!!!!!!!!!! So excited.
 
And my interview virginity goes to....OSU!!! (BTW, its on Oct. 18th)
Oh my gosh, I can't believe it...I've been reading this thread for the past couple of weeks and just pouring self-hatred on myself because I hadn't gotten any interviews yet. But after this first one, it feels like a huge mountain is lifted off my chest! Now I hope I get some more interviews and actually get accepted somewhere!

And to everyone who is reading this thread w/ the same anxiety that I had, my advice is to hang tight and don't get too worried because it is still very early in the year.
 
for those of you who have received harvard invites, first off congratulations and second, how were you notified, phone or email?

hey DRHOYA. congrat! I have a question for you. When did your AADSAS status show up as 'under review' for BU? Mine was changed about two weeks ago, and I would like to see if I could hear some good news from BU also.

Thanks. My AADSAS status changed I want to say about 2 weeks ago also? It said under-review, with a long description in the other column. As of now, it is still there, but I received the invite through email this afternoon. AADSAS sometimes doesn't update right away, you may have to give it some time. I always check AADSAS at night.
