i just interviewed at temple on 10/30 and brian told us that he hasn't even scheduled interviews in november...i'm almost positive that you'll be able to interview as early as this month. good luck!

Well, God has opened the way to medical school for me after 3 years of trying. I just got an invite in the mail from Loma Linda about a week ago, and now I'm sitting here looking at a packet of information about what to expect when I get to the interview, where to stay, what to do while I'm in town, etc.
Any other Adventists out there who are interviewing at Loma Linda University School of Medicine? What are you doing to prepare for the interview process, other than lots of praying? I feel that I have such a surety of purpose going into this interview that I almost don't want to practice anything, but then I get worried that I'm being arrogant. I'd hate to get there and promptly shove both feet into my mouth as it were. Or have them ask me a doozy of a question and scramble for an answer.
But hey, I figure no matter how much I prepare, they'll ask me something I don't know sooner or later.

P.S. By the way, I wanted to say that if any of you are interviewing at Loma Linda on Nov. 25, I'd love to hang out and chat AFTER the interview. I'll simply be too nervous before. I'm flying in Nov. 23 and staying at a friend's house in the area, so if any of you are around that early, I'd love to meet you and bounce interview questions off of one another. If we both get in, at least we have a study group of 2 to prepare ourselves for all the grueling hours of pulverizing studying we'll have to do! ummm...how do I know what date I applied? I submitted the app on sept 14th, if that's what you're asking? You're scaring me now with the 'only 2 schools'...What do you mean?
Then it makes sense because if you would applied in July/Aug and with those stats, you should have a lot more interviews. I did not mean to scare you but you will get more interviews soon. I am pretty sure you will get an interview from UConn soon.
LOL...this is just the beginning....there will be another wait after the interviews...😛😛
The U of M has an early-decision program, but decisions for this program were sent out at the end of September.

I'm assuming you are from Stockton too. Did you go to UoP undergrad or did you grow up there?

just got an invite from tufts...i'm stoked, except all of the interview dates (4) that they offered are during my finals week..and they also said that if i can't make it to these dates, then my application will be withdrawn.. what should i do? i'm not sure if i can reschedule my exams..
that sucks!!! i would call and explain the situation to them and hopefully they have some mercy and let you schedule it for a later date.
what are the available tufts dates still?

When I called to set up my interview, they said it lasts until about 12:30. The key word is "about." So I would make plans allowing extra time afterward just in case it runs a little longer.
