Thanks! Actually I scheduled for November and then got a message stating they "over-booked" for that date and need to move me to Dec. 13th! Ugh. An entire month seriously??? I have been trying them all morning to reschedule and no one is answering!
If I might ask, how are you people paying for all of these flights around the country?? If that's an average of (let's go super conservative) $250 per trip, you're paying $3,500 just for the flights!! (I had to check that number 3 times just so I wouldn't have any QR nazi attack me!!)
What's the trick? Howdoya do it?
Not to mention on his predents profile it says he visited tons of the schools he applied to before hand, so he's flown to most of them more than once. I've had to buy 3 plane tickets and I'm nearly broke despite working 20 hours a week, I don't know how these guys do it.
I submitted my supplemental on 8/12/11 and received the email confirmation on 9/20/11. I received the email invite today.

Wow...she made it sound like it had just gotten overbooked this week for that date. That's a terrible trick to play on us interviewees! So are you going on December 2nd? I was in school all day today so finally my wife reached them to get the next available date and they wouldn't let her schedule it for me! So that means I have to call tomorrow. Ugh. At this rate, I'm probably going to be pushed out to January. 🙁 Good luck to you!

Your PAT, QR, and (to some extent) your RC scores are what's going on with Columbia. You should hear from Temple, though.
Congrats on the USC interview.
USC has the hottest Asian girls, so it might be the worth the price of admission.
PREACH! I'm not expecting Columbia, but definitely the other 2 and BU! I know every school has their own way of doing things, but it really eats at your confidence when you see people with similar/lower stats than you getting interviews. Like...I managed an OOS interview at Maryland but can't get any love from Temple? 🙁
Congrats to everyone, especially those who are finally getting their well-deserved first interviews. It's a long waiting game, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end for everyone

I do have interviews at my top schools and went on one already though. I should have just applied, i thought it would be too much of a long shot and waste of money.

I got a letter from ASDOH in the mail today saying that I am still under consideration. This was post-interview by the way. I heard they are sending out pre-dec 1st rejections. Any thoughts on what this means? I'm hoping this is a sign I'm still in the running.

After you interview at ASDOH they send you a letter stating whether you are still under consideration a few weeks later, one of the ladies that works there said you have to really screw up the interview to receive a pre-December rejection

Well, if you live in NY, NJ, PA area then you can hit 9 schools by car: NYU, Columbia, UMDNJ, Penn, Temple, Pitt, Maryland, BU, Tufts. But if you live in bumbleville Idaho then you'll have to save up.
I have a question about USC. Do you get a confirmation "application complete" email, or what does your application status say on their website?
I called USC today to confirm that my DAT scores have been received, because their website application status says they don't have the official scores yet, when they should have.
Then, I asked how I would know if my application is actually complete--do I get a confirmation email? The guy said that he thinks they might not send out an application complete email?...But he didn't sound too sure.
So, should I be expecting an "application complete" email?...or do I find out from checking my application status?

The confirmation email I got was just saying "We have recently received your AADSAS application for the class entering in fall 2012". I never got an email saying my application is complete. On their website my application status still says "under review". Maybe they don't update it too frequently? My guess is that you will know your application is complete when it just says "under review". Hope that helps!
