If your website crashes come Dec 1st (which you know it will),

...then everyone will jump on SDN, which will cause it to crash also
...then everyone will be calling the schools to find out what's up
...and next all the phone lines and cell towers will overheat and explode
...which in turn will damage all vegitation, crops, and wildlife
...causing a huge panic, mass chaos, rampant looting, violence, and fear
...which leads to war, famine, and death
...causing the end of the world as we know it

Now AADSAS, you don't want this on your conscience do you? Please avoid this mess by simply keeping your website operational on Dec 1st.

Haha. It's so true that if AADSAS crashes, everyone will go on SDN to see whats going on and if it happened to everyone.

I applied to 14 schools and only 1 interview from UF (my state school )

the other 13 haven't even rejected me or even gave me an interview, sooo scared
 
what do u guys mean by round two ?

im just scared that if i dont get into my state school (who i heard r lenient than other in terms of grades) - then how am i gonna get into out of state schools

round 2 is that the schools will need to fill the other seats. Unless you found a way to be in two places at once an applicant can only go to 1 school.

the applicant with multiple acceptances will have to choose one, freeing up a spot for each of the other schools.

Maybe their waitlist will fill those seats, maybe it won't. If it won't they will have to start interviewing students to fill those vacant seats.
 
I just got an email from Western with a title "Update form DMD Applicants"

I thought I was accepted already.

It turned out to be just a newsletter.

WTF!! way to play with your emotions on the last day. Great job.
 
so from my understanding

if we get accepted - we get a phone call on Dec. 1

rejection - is from email ?


is this correct

On a totally unrelated note: it's a good thing the paranoia and anxiety that I expected hasn't set in for myself any other SDNers waiting on Dec 1st decisions to go out!

So nyu sends their decisions snail mail? 🙁 is there any other way they tell you (aadsas or email or phone call?) or do we just have to wait for the maiiillll?? Really would suck having to hear a decision frm my parents instead of opening the envelope myself:scared:

I think NYU will do Email this year (and snail mail) also.

It's almost here!

So what's everyone doing for the next three hours to pass the time? I see about 400+ members lurking/participating in the forums.

I'll be doing laundry, watching some Food Network, and maybe play some video games. Oh, and constantly checking SDN!
 
So does this mean that all the east coast folk will get an update at 12:00am EST? If that's the case wouldn't that mean the west coast folk will be able to view the update at 9:00pm PST?

For those who interviewed at USC how will we be notified? via email, postal mail, usc portal, aadsas or phone call. :xf:
 
Is anybody else waiting to hear from VCU? Its my understanding that we wont get an AADSAS update until sometime around 8am tomorrow morning. I dont think ill be able to sleep tonight.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Dr. Healy said that it wouldn't change until the morning. Bummer.
 
I've never seen this many sdners active at one time until today. I wonder if some of these SDNers are adcoms reading our funny threads. It must be entertaining 🙂
