Thanks dude. As far as NYU goes, it's tough to say. It may have been my interview (I didn't get much sleep the night before, didn't love the school so that may have shown in my interview) or PS or any number of things, who knows. I've given up on trying to understand the process lol, but I've gotten into some great schools so I'm just counting my lucky stars and trying to decide between UDM and Colorado. It's more stressful than I thought it would be, but I've never before been so happy to have to make a tough decision 😉.

I submitted my Aadsas September 2nd and haven't heard anything from Michigan. I don't even have aadsas update for them. Did you get any emails or secondaries from them? The only email I got from them was how to create a friend account

I applied in July (complete early August) and just heard back from them today, so you may have to wait a little longer. But the only emails I got from them before today had to do with that friend account.

Contacted today to fill out secondary app
Invite followed shortly after submission
Possibly connected to my academic update having been received? AU contains all my physics grades + a semester of biochem

Quite a bit in Jan especially I believe. People will be dropping spots in early Jan, so schools will be looking to start filling their classes well into the spring, but I think most would prefer to get that done earlier. So Jan is a good bet for the "big second round" of interviews so to speak.

some of the questions on dat achiever biology section seem to be out of the blue and not covered in kaplan or cliffs. What other resources should i use?

Received an interview for Tufts via email. I have been accepted to my number one choice(UDM), so I am currently debating if I should attend or not. Any advice?

Don't so Tufts will send me an invite 😉

Honestly, if you already got in to your #1 than why make the effort? Unless you think theres a possible chance that you'll like Tufts more than UDM if you visit. It's up to you.

Yeah, your right. If I didn't hear back from UDM, it would be a no-brainer but with an acceptance in hand why dish out the money. I hope you hear from them soon. Best of luck to you.

I received the interview invite on 12/27. They seem to have quite a few interview dates to select from all of which are in January. I've heard you have a decent shot of getting accepted if you land an interview. Good luck.
 
Interview invites this week from Midwestern-AZ and UoP. My UoP re-review status originally said end of January, but I guess it ended up being a little earlier!!

Is it true that your chicness to get in to a school go down in post december interviews? Hope that's a ridiculous rumor.

Nothing spectacular, but respectable: 3.9s across the board and a 19AA. I'm a WICHE applicant. I'm probably declining though. I really wanted to check them out earlier, but now that it's Dec. 30 I think I'm set on a school and I just dropped a deposit. But I thought I'd share so people know they're sending out more invites now. Order of invite was email-->AADSAS-->mail.

My stats aren't that great so I was really surprised when I received the letter. I couldn't believe it!! 😱
