"Your application has been processed and your admissions file has been forwarded to the Committee on Dental Recruitment and Admissions for review.

Due to the volume of applications that we receive, we respectfully request that you do not contact our office to check on the status of your application at this time. Our office will contact you if additional information is required."

I'm starting to think that of the 17 schools I applied to, CASE is going to be my only interview...

When was your application mailed/complete? Mine mailed on 7/4 and I still have not heard anything from Maryland confirming that they have my application...They're the only school I haven't heard something from and they're one of those schools that doesn't want to be contacted at all.

I didn't apply to Columbia because their website says you must have 3!!!

Now, I could add them still. But, what do you guys think? Considering my stats...do I have a chance at Columbia? Is it worth the money at this point?

It will probably come from who is assigned to you according to your last name. But that's the exchange for the school. I have all of my schools listed with what I believe to be the most likely area code + 1st 3 numbers. I knew it was Western calling.

My application was mailed out on 6/27/11. I got an email from them on 8/2/11 stating that my application is complete. Today 8/17/11 i got the email about my application being reviewed by committee. Hopefully you will hear from them soon. Good luck 🙂

I started getting MASSIVE telemarketing calls just a few weeks ago. BAD time to be getting crap calls from random area codes. So I'm forced to screen this way. I'm sure they'd leave a message anyway.
 
I missed the call from CASE and they actually didn't leave a message, but they did send an email out as well..

Hahaha....looks like I'm changing my voicemail greeting. I just got the iPhone 4 yesterday and temporarily set up my voicemail with a personalized greeting.....me in an australian accent: "'Ello mate, you've reached Annie's voicemail! Leave a message and she'll contact you as soon as possible! 'Ave a good one; CRIKEY!"

How funny would that be if Western had to hear that? :laugh:
 
Penn Interview!! Arrived via snail mail in a big packet. Im in DC, mailing date of 7/4 and app complete on 7/22.

I considered it. But, I figured by then I'd be waiting for the iPhone 6 or 7. Soo, I just went for it...haha. Plus, I got it for like $100 - as opposed to what the iPhone 5 might be - $400? 😎

I called them today and they told me they are planning on sending their first invites out within the next week or so. Not sure about the kid on predents...😕

Hey NguyenDDS. I called today and asked about my status (I was in the first batch), and I was told that admissions hadn't looked at my application yet. Maybe that's a good sign? :xf:

Hi there! 🙂 Thanks for the info, it's quite relieving 🙂 I guess they don't review applications in the order they are received. People from the second batch are getting interviews from them 😕

Looks like that mysterious ASDOH interview has disappeared now from predents. I figured if it was really true that ASDOH had starting sending out interview invites SDN would've exploded....literally exploded.

Hey! I think they do go through apps in order, but you have to remember when you submitted your secondaries and when you got the app complete email. 😀 I was in the second batch, but I got app complete 7/29 so maybe yours was after?

I received the "Good News! Your application is eligible for review and will be sent to the Admissions Committee" on 7/26. So, I guess mine was complete before yours. I'm starting to smell a rejection 🙄 I'll call them tomorrow and ask for my status 🙂
