Just goes to show you that schools care less about numbers than us SDNers think. It's also about being a complete applicant. I bet choiboi has a lot going for him that numbers don't show. CONGRATS!

The important questions are:
1- Did anyone get a rejection email?
2- Is there any applicant who did not get any emails?
3- Did they do this last year too and then came up with multiple waves of interviews later?

not trying to razz you but his/her interview invitation with those stats are not conclusive of anything. Its within the range among those invited for interview. people in this thread with 3.3 and19/20s has already been getting interview left and right

if anything it goes to show that getting your app completed at the earliest possible time is hugely advantageous

I think he/she might have been referring to first year dental students starting classes, so that's why adcoms are a little slow. They might be busy taking care of the 2015 students.
 
I got an interview invite from UMDNJ (email) on August 23rd.. and I scheduled it for October 7th ... It is been my first and only interview invite so far.

No, i just received an email on 7/25th "Application received at University of Washington" and then an interview phone call today! No secondary no fees!

LOL right. I happen to have a few "inside" connections to UW, and I know that there is NO WAY that they would a) accept you for an interview with no secondary, and b) not require an app fee. Even then this is even harder to believe because your OOS. Sorry bro, better luck next time 👍

I didn't realize people would come here on SDN with fake news... assuming it is fake. But what's the point of doing this? It seems like it doesn't affect me or anyone else. SO WHY!!!
 
People must be bored out of their mind or going crazy waiting to hear news from schools. I wonder what percentage of applicants are taking courses in the fall vs working/dead beating for the year?

Yup, at least that is the message that I seem to be getting from her.

Also, I never got an "Application received at University of Washington" email from the UW... All I got was the email outlining the secondary app and the app fee. Once I sent my secondary in, I got a confirmation email indicating that i sent my secondary. THATS IT. haha

On a side note, this guy even has his UW "interview" on predents... :eyebrow:
