Got the call on Wednesday, accepted to Roseman!!! I interviewed there Dec. 13th. Now I've got to decide between Roseman and Western. A good dilemma to have. 😉

Three choices eh? Which one are you going to pick? You had a Tufts acceptance too right? Let me know which school you end up attending (hopefully Roesman so we can be classmates!)

Yes, Tufts also but I've decided to withdraw from there - I pm'd you back on that. I'm leaning towards Roseman so I'll probably see you in August!
 
Howard and NYU, still say my application is under Review. Why not even a rejection yet?
 
Still doesn't make sense to me why they send me a request for additional money for the application, then don't even give the courtesy of sending a rejection so I can plan for the future as soon as possible.

easy way to make money. it sucks, but at the end of the day, schools want $$.

Oh dental school individuals just want extra funding for the "tiresome" work of weeding through applicants for which they already get paid to do. Daunting task, right? All the money must go towards the tasty snacks provided during interviews.......
 
At $75 an applicant....next year I expect something more than fruit and muffins. I take my steak med rare :0)

probably, hands down, the funniest comment i've read on here!

but i know that feeling. i never got anything from Harvard, other than he "Application complete" email, which is pretty screwed up, considering I was pretty damn close to their averages. so, i've learned that it really doesn't matter where you interview or get accepted to, because the kid who gets into Columbia with a 20 still doesn't have **** on the kid with a 25 who went to his/her state school. [done.ranting]

I think your DAT could be improved. If you could improve your DAT up to around 20, then you should def. able to land some interviews, especially with that dental-related experiences. Good luck!

I agree with Kentuckylover. minimee, you may want to look into retaking the DAT. I think that will open up some options. Best of luck

Well, I have heard of someone wanting a fourth attempt on the DAT, but I believe it's pretty rare to take it more than three times. I believe you have to get some kind of special permission to take it more than three times. I would look into it, though.

No, it's not that hard to take it 3 or more times. I knew a girl who took it 4 times, all she needed was a rejection letter from a school.
 
LECOM "unable to grant an interview this cycle" email. It said the class is closed. I hope some more people make it off the wait list!
 
Rejection email from Roseman today. I'm so crushed.

Cashed my check 7/8/11. First thing I've heard from them since.
 
Declined UPenn today, hopefully one of you hears the good news soon!🙂
