hmm, i'm still hoping mine is in the mail. My application received letter was postmarked like July 19th, and I received it 4-5 days later even though I live the next state over, still hoping:xf:

I was under the impression that it was it was based on how many of the 100 science questions you got right, regardless of section. At least that is what Kaplan BB seems to make it look like in the scoring chart at the back of the book.
 
^^^^ I am also pretty sure that it is out of the 100 science questions you got right. I feel like I have read that multiple places. I even think it says that on my sore sheet.

You guys are not factoring in how others in the past have done on the exam. Scores are scaled up or down based on how others do on the exam.

First batch was mailed out on 6/29/2012.....from there count every Friday for each new batch. You can see mailed out date under Dental school designation in your application status section.

Its cool, I understand. I don't know why my total science ended up being where it was. wish it went to a 25! The test made it seem like all i knew was the chemistry haha

The formula doesn't always work. I think they have a different way of looking at each test.

Invite at nova today. Added the school after everything else so it was in the 7th or 8th mailing batch.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you know what application "batch" you are in? My app without DAT scores was sent to schools july 29, completed app dental with DAT scores was recieved by schools on August 3. Thank you. 😀
 
anybody get an interview from Penn that is not in the first batch? I'm in the second batch, but nothing in the mail 🙁

the first batch was "sent" out 6/22.

every friday after that was the next batch. Its possible they started doing every other friday as volume levels changed. But this should give you a rough idea. I'd say ~7th batch or so.
 
Finally! TODAY I recieved my first interview request from UPENN!

AADSAS mail-out date: July 6th

GPA: Science: 4.0. Overall: 4.0
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/Reading/any section below a 17): 21/21/23/19 - Yes, 16 on QR... I never learned sin/cosin and I had 7 questions on the subject! (Hopefully my 28 on organic will compensate)

I was in the second batch. Don't give up hope. I got mine today (Wednesday) and I'm from VA. I thought it was disheartening that people from CA were getting requests on Tuesday.

For those that got interviews from Penn, do you have to respond to the interview invite in a limited amount of time? I am out of the country so I don't know if I have invited for an interview cause I can't check my snail mail, but I am a bit worried that I might not be able to respond in time if I have gotten one.

The letter said to call in as soon as possible since interview spots are limited. You should email the admissions office to let them know of your situation

I haven't seen any interview requests on here for 4 of the 6 schools I applied to. I was getting sort of worried but it seems like these schools haven't even started requesting for interviews? Any thoughts? I applied to OU, UMKC, TN, SIU, San Antonio, and Baylor. Let me know if any of you have heard from OU especially.
