Harsh,

RC is extremely subjective. I for example learned English formally starting from 2005. I know I have problems with reading long documents and retain many of its key concepts. But after learning a few strategies, I came out on top with a 23 on my DAT. good luck to the person with that score though, hopefully someone is going to realize this flaw in the testing procedures.

Classless, Im sure you'll be well received in DS, you'll be the kid everyone leaves out to dry. I can't wait til the interviewers catch wind of your arrogance, then lets see who's on the rejection list, no school wants a cocky arrogant prick

Indiana also sent me an email with "No Interview" as the subject lol. Also got rejected from NOVA. I'm in the same sitch as you for Buffalo. Sigh

Congrats! When did you call to schedule an interview with UNLV? I just called 20 mins ago and they said the first available date is 9/28. Woulda been economically better for me to go to the 9/21 interview because I'll be in Vegas that weekend for a friend's bachelorette. 🙁 So I scheduled for 10/5.

Hey, I got rejected from Case Western and Indiana this morning, too. But last week I read on CWRU's "School Specific" thread that they've filled up all the spots for the pre-December interviews, and so if they invited anybody now, it would be for the post-December interviews. Hope this helps. Good luck

Edit: both rejections were via email

I believe they did. The lady was very kind and let me call back to change my interview date (I initially picked 10/11 but wanted to change it to 10/4). She also said she was calling a lot of people that day so I'm guessing yesterday and today are the bulk of the interview phone calls? If you get a phone call from a 415 area code, ANSWER IT!


EDIT: haha oops, already answered it. Oh well.

Hey, can you tell me how your NYU interview went? Everyone says it's casual, but can you give me a little more detail? Like where there any uncommon questions?
 
Visit the Interview thread for NYU. They list all the questions that are asked! The most difficult question would probably be the ethical one. Other than that, there's nothing hard.

I got my 4th interview invite at UNLV!!!! 🙂 I got the notification via email last weekend!! I haven't set up my interview date but I will soon

I just checked and it didn't change, still says "Waiting for Review"
It was also last updated 8/03/2012 though so....out of date haha.

I called yesterday and it was the first date they gave me. Maybe they filled up all the slots already 🙁. Sorry.

I had a great interviewer. She was very casual and just smiled the entire time which made me feel at ease. It was conversational so you don't feel like you are getting grilled and as long as you don't try to memorize and recite, then you should be fine. No uncommon questions. The rest of the day was chill. Tour and lunch. Everyone seemed so friendly the school was beautiful.

Did they ask questions regarding which is your top dental school? Or anything similiar to that?

Thank you so much for the info. I have my interview coming up and I'm trying to calm my nerves :x one more question, did they ask you to specifically describe a dental procedure you've observed? I saw that on interview feedback.
