I received the supplemental yesterday and submitted it last night .

So... My AADSAS was also mailed out by 7/18 and I got application complete confirmation emails from all my schools by the end of July. BUT since this San Antonio interview I've gotten an update from UoP and a confirmation from Houston but NOTHING ELSE from my schools....

Should I be worried...? :scared:

I studied abroad last semester and those grades still aren't on my transcript.. could this be a reason why I'm not getting any more interviews?

LECOM sent an email to me from the address "[email protected]" regarding the supplemental application on 8/30/12 (which FYI was before my DAT scores were in.) If I am understanding you correctly, you sent your AADSAS out a full month later than I sent mine out therefore, I would expect you would receive an interview response in a proportional amount of time, meaning sometime during the week of 10/16/12, contingent upon you getting your supplemental application in in a week or so.

They said in their application complete email that they send them out from end of September until February, and rejections will come out in snail mail starting from mid-November.

Congrats buddy! Knew you would get your interview! When do you have it? I was initially scheduled for the 26th, but they called me to reschedule. Had the choices of 2nd or 9th of November. Will be going on the 9th. Let me know if you have the same date.

Don't worry... if you head to the TMDSAS 2013 SDN blog, you will notice that there are tons of people waiting to hear back from TX schools.... :xf:

So far, LECOM is the only school that haven't sent me an "application received" email. I will give them a call to make sure they did receive my application. :xf:

I would not call them. My AADSAS was sent out on 8/24 and the email I received from them was on 8/30. Be patient, and have faith that they are doing their jobs!!

Congrats!!!! When did they send you the supplemental application? My application mailled out on 08/31/12, but they only send me the "application received" email on 09/07, since then i haven't anything from UW 🙁🙁🙁

I completed the supplemental on Aug. 11th but my DAT retake wasn't in until the 24th of Aug. I tried to find that email in my inbox to give you an idea of when I got it but couldn't find it. You will hear soon. Good luck!

My application for Harvard was complete at the beginning of August
 
I received confirmation from harvard on july 27th that my file was complete. from what I've read-- harvard starts the process later than most schools? I'm assuming this is their first round of interview offers.

What did you think about NOVA? I am contemplating declining their interview invite. I just don't know anything about the school and have really only heard negative things.

every school has ppl that are haters and most of them are ppl that got rejected from their state school. I met 2 alumni's in Houston, TX during a mission of mercy event and they had good things to say about it. They said NOVA hires TOP NOTCH FACULTY. great clinical experience. I checked their facilities and their typodonts are all outfitted with digital LCD monitors where a faculty can show them techniques or procedures instead of walking to every student showing the same procedure. People there are all optometry, nursing, pharmacy, medicine, and dental. Dental clinic has a separate building next to the main building. I felt wanted and special at their school. People congratulate you and welcome you. Again, every school has their bad things and you dont know know until you visit there. I suggest you go and find out. Personally, I really like it and no regrets visiting there. Dr. Lippmann praised you and made sure that you are selected becuz they think you are smart enough and already looked good on paper.

Their school is very big on community service. You get to work in HIV clinic, state prison, and other outreach programs that are in Nicaragua and other Latin American countries. In fact, its so big they offer the international outreach programs 3X a year. Someone proposed to go Vietnam and they got the approval. Something I want to do after dental school is to travel back to Vietnam and provide a mission of mercy event.

School lets the students give feedback and the dean actually listens to them. Dean approved a plan to no longer require students to buy laptops. Many things have been overhauled by the Dean and its really good to hear that.
