I got called at 3pm ET, there were only 2 dates in November to choose from so I dunno if they've already given out most of the pre-dec invites.

Anyone know if a pre-dec invite at UOP is still almost guaranteed admit? If so 😍

First rejection today. The Kornberg School of Dentistry regretfully informed me, via email, that my application was not successful.

And what are those two dates. In the past they'd interview up to week before thanksgiving. You can figure how close the are to giving out all pre-dec invites.

If things follow past trends then yes it still almost an admit. of course you need to do at least ok during the interview but that's obvious.

You have a very high chance of getting accepted if you get a pre-December interview, congratulations! I have one at UOP scheduled for Oct 4th, I believe that's the first day. I talked to an admissions rep at their predental day and she said they interview about 90-100 people pre-December, and 225 overall, for 143 spots. If they only have 2 dates in November they are probably almost done with pre-dec interviews. I think there are like 10-12 people per interview group? Haha I researched extensively to prepare 🙂

hey was the interview date they gave you post december 1st?
 
I am a non-traditional re-applicant with 2 years of postbac work and a masters degree. My undergrad GPA was very low, but my postbac/graduate GPA was high. Nova was my first rejection two years ago, now it's my first interview!

Second interview! Woke up from a nap and found the email. Is there anything else better? (Other than a third, fourth, fifth... etc interview, I guess 😛)

They gave me a choice of 10/22 and 11/5. I have Detroit Mercy interview on 11/3, so I could fly over on the 4th from Detroit to save some travel cost. Is there any disadvantage of scheduling two interviews so close to each other?
