Solid stats

MWU-AZ and LECOM both use portals. I never received an email invite from LECOM and only found out about it through their portal. Make sure to check your trash folder! After I began to email LECOM regarding interview day info all subsequent emails were delivered to my trash automatically

I actually got my interview invite from lecom through e-mail.. do you know of any other schools that do it via portals?

I'm aware that most people received invites via email. I found out via the portal and went through every folder of my email but I never got an email. When LECOM emailed me the interview confirmation 10 days before the interview, I found the email delivered to my trash. Every other correspondence with dental schools has gone to my inbox

I feel bad for you. You have too many interviews. I've only received one interview invite, so if I get in, my decision will be easy. You on the other hand…I wouldn't want to be you. haha😉

AADSAS mail-out date: 6/20
Application complete date: 7/15
GPA (science, overall) ~3.4, ~3.5

Never got an interview from them and my status changed to "check back Dec1" this morning, so I was kinda expecting this.

5 more days!!

LECOM showed up on my AADSAS portal today saying "Check back on DEC 1," and the LECOM portal says they have made a decision and I will receive a letter in 30 days.

WHAT IS THIS TOMFOOLERY?!

I am thinking a waitlist, but I wasn't sure who else has this or if anybody has experience and may be able to shed light on it. 😎

That's where I first found out about it, so I was hoping someone on this thread might know instead. Thanks, though!

Oh ok.. Yeah not sure what's going on. Interviewed 11/6 and my status hasn't changed on aadsas or LECOM.

Sorry just saw that you were in same thread I've been in...

Rejection #2 - UPenn

Saw this one coming when my friend with similar stats got his letter so I'm not too down about it.

If it was grilled turkey , then the beer would be more appropriate. I feel like beer and jut baked turkey doesn't mix well. But that's just me.

It also has to be decent beer. Not any of that miller light or Busch light , or bud.

Happy thanksgiving. Also in another note , my mother in law , who is a teacher , told me thanksgiving was based on 1492 when Christopher Columbus came to "New England " Hahahaha.

Can interviewer really tell the applicants they are in during interview?

That guy's mocking me haha but yeah I mean one did for me and I talked to a couple current students at one of my interview trips and the same thing happened to them too

Anyone else have to have the same conversation 32 times yesterday to your loving [and forgetful since you've explained numerous times already] family? "So where are you going/where have you heard back from so far, etc?" - "Monday is the first I can find out about acceptances/scholarships from all schools! But maybe not all of them, maybe none, maybe next month, next semester, never...Trust me you'll know when I KNOW."

I don't have that problem because no my relatives, including my parents, know I am applying this cycle, haha

I met a veteran who was told the same thing but then didn't get in. The thing is your interviewers probably don't have the final say so they are setting you up for disappointment when they can't deliver. That guy had a 4.0 gpa but one of the committee members thought he was too old (26) so he was passed up. I hope you get in... just sayin.

Wait...26 is too old? What school?
