they think they're all that, push other people around, and pretty much get whatever they want their whole life, until eventually they're left alone, empty, and disappointed. and impotent.

why bother with expensive orthopods when you can go to a perfectly good ER and get treated and leave without ever paying a bill, forcing everyone else's costs to go up?

You're taller than all the orthopods I know.

why bother with expensive orthopods when you can go to a perfectly good ER and get treated and leave without ever paying a bill, forcing everyone else's costs to go up?

Until patients realize that ER docs can't hard cast at some hospitals. You're just bitter that you weren't at school again to get cookies.

as for hardcasting, that is going the way of the dodo now thanks to ultra-modern limb amputation with hacksaws.

I haven't seen anything of that nature. Guess I just figured we'd all keep posting in here, since everyone from MCW who posts on SDN visits all three of the current class threads. If you're looking for answers to questions, there are two 3rd years (Xandie and Don) who slum it up pretty often and post on here.

I'm pissed that I got the "nerve reattachment" question wrong on the Path test today. For some reason I decided to multiply 250 by 5 instead of divide, and I never double-checked the units. What a waste of a gimme question!

And I take offense at the insinuation that I'm a backup dancer to Splat. I'm at least good enough to sing backup vocals.

Well, as for being worse than block 2, it wasn't. Oh well. At least I didn't miss all the questions I guessed on.

Defintely not worse than block 2, but could definitely have gone better for me. Oh well, you reap what you sow...😳

Suprisingly, I did way better on the histology/gross pathology photo questions than I thought I was going to. Considering I never once went to or even looked at a lab, that's a bonus.

Lowest path grade for me so far, and this comes after I finished up the CNS questions in the Robbins Review book at about a 90% clip (I'm usually lucky to hit 70% on those questions).

I knew the clinical stuff pretty damn well. Oh well, I guess I know where my autopsy bonus points are going to have to go.

I can't agree with this more. I think the boards are going to test completely different stuff than what we were tested on today.

I got one wrong because I confused myself and changed my answer just before submitting. Others I feel like I got wrong because either:

a. I didn't try hard enough
b. The question confused me
c. I didn't like the answer choices
d. The answer to #15 should be E
e. The questions were simply not what I was expecting and harder than previous years' exams.
