I was just wondering, has anyone received a rejection from Louisville this year? It seems like everyone on SDN who has interviewed there has been accepted or waitlisted (NTBC list) but has anyone been rejected or is the NTBC list huge?

Uh oh she told me the same thing!
I honestly don't know either...one thing that all the FSU people I know who got accepted have in common is that they're all officers in the pre-dental society, and with like 10 officers (half of which don't do much), it's really not that big of an honor...haha I am just trying to think of reasons why they all got in and I didn't.
You have the right stats and I'm sure you've done a ton of extra currics. Have you asked them why they rejected you? Last year, I had emailed most of the schools asking what I need to work on in my application and what suggestions they might give me. That helped me a lot. Also, Its still early on so don't worry too much about the reasons why your friends got in and you didn't. That will just be a huge burden on you and your personality! Just keep your head up! You'll hear from more schools soon, and possibly more interviews! Dont worry. I was in the same boat as you last year. Just keep on truckin'

interviewed at 2 schools, no accepted, my third time applying... sigh another day like this... what am i going to do?
gonna sit in a corner and cry now 🙁
Just got my rejection letter from NYU... ahh wtf is goin on.
This is gettin kinda depressing.
Hey, did you guys interview?me too i dont know wtf is going on...
Hey, did you guys interview?
And is there anyone who hasn't heard from NYU yet?? Just curious how long it takes for all their letters to be sent out.
I am EXTREMELY curious why you didn't get an offer Victoria. Not only that, you were rejected? What the ****? Here's my (extremely inaccurate and potentially offensive) take on what happened. You had better stats and better everything compared to your FSU comrades, yes. However, since you go to FSU, you are smoking hot. your confidence and high[er-than-average]-pitched voice came off as snobbish or bratty. The people interviewing you were jealous.
Haha, why would an in-state institution every think that a resident was over qualified?? Most Floridians who get into Florida will go because of price alone (and it's a good school). Victoria definitely has great stats and will eventually get in, but the overqualified excuse doesn't apply here.I think she was over qualified and her school didn't think she would matriculate if she WAS accepted.
I would be very surprised if she doesn't get in to any scohol this cycle given her strong stats.

1. First of all, I just want to say thanks to everyone for posting. It sucks admitting that you weren't accepted on Dec 1st (myself included), even if it is anonymously, but it does make me feel better to know there are other applicants that have competitive applications and didn't get in. I feel like I am not alone!
2. As sh**ty as it is to hear, we just have to trust that it is still early in the game and we will continue to have more interview opportunities and chances to get in. I know, its easy for everyone to say that already has their admissions letter in hand, but its true.
3. Something that made me feel better was having a plan B. I didn't like to think about a plan B until I had to, but nonetheless. I have decided that I will (even more seriously now) consider Teach for America. Just simply HAVING that resolution took a huge weight off my chest, even more so when my parents supported my decision. The worst part about the few days after December 1st was the unknown, that "what now?" feeling. Having a plan in hand at least gives me something to focus on and a goal to work towards.
Besides, sitting around and stressing doesn't do much good. Let's instead start to focus on finals and stay positive.

I am in the same boat. Only 1 pre-dec interview @ Temple...and hoping to hear from them soon... Let's be positive!
does anyone know what is the general ratio seats/applicants in the country. Like I know that in medicine there ~30000 applicants and only 16000seats.
I'm pretty sure it's a 3:1 ratio where as med school is 2:1. I don't know exact numbers though. I remember hearing something at an interview like 9,000+ applicants for 3,000+ spots. Correct me if you have heard otherwise.does anyone know what is the general ratio seats/applicants in the country. Like I know that in medicine there ~30000 applicants and only 16000seats.
this waiting sucksssss

arggggggg, 5 schools down, 10 more to go. WHY DON'T THEY GIVE ME A SHOT!?! all they said last year was to apply earlier than I did last year (october) and it'd be all easy peezy. FALSE!
