it seems a few schools are lagging behind this year for interviews!
 
I am insanely excited/nervous about December 1st. :nod:

So is this thread for people who have post 12/1 interviews and subsequent result or what updates did they get after 12/1? The thread title and content is confusing.

12/1 was a fun day for me. I was promptly denied by Iowa when it hit midnight. Later that day I come home to letter from Western. It was dated a week ago but post marked on Monday. I figure they know it only takes 2 days to get from socal to the bay area. I also burnt my finger in lab, fat blister. Oven mittens were totally worthless.

I'm surprised that I haven't been rejected(at least not told) yet from Michigan, Louisville, Maryland, Penn, UCLA, NYU. some others but they escape my mind right now.
 
Sorry to hear Herkulease! I was surprised to see you heard from Iowa - I am still waiting on them. Haven't seen many people talking about them on the forums. Keep your hopes up! No acceptances for me yet either but trying to stay positive.

Rejected by Western right on the 1st, so that's 8 total so far. I'm gonna stay hopeful until the end though, there are still a few that haven't told me anything yet!

This thread is mainly for the people who's waiting for Post dec. interviews, to help people which school is giving invite after Dec. 1st.

Hope this clears your confusion.
 
WVU rejection via snail mail today. I was sort of anticipating this one, but still, boooooooo!!
 
Rejected by Baylor 3.7 scgpa 25/27/19 DAT, oh well. 15k a year tuition would have been nice...:lame:
 
just got interview invite via email from ASDOH. haven't scheduled it yet.

::edit:: scheduled for Dec. 14th (available slots are 12/7,9,14,16 as of now)

also I got post-dec interview for NYU next week. i was invited in mid-November though. 11/30 slot was opened but it was too expensive to fly right after thanksgiving, plus i didn't think i would hear back the next day so.. but yay! post-dec interviews are starting! 🙂

So you received an acceptance letter from Western? I'm a little confused.. if yes, when did you interview? Thanks!

the thread title confused me. As I wasn't sure if it was for those who got an interview invite after 12/1 or got an update to their status such as a rejection after 12/1.

Anyhow no. I got rejected via snail mail. It was the theme of 12/1 for me. everything going bad. rejected by iowa @ midnight, burned finger in lab due to worthless oven mittens, then a rejection letter waiting for me from Western when I got home.

Today, 12/3 I got a rejection from West Virgina via snail mail, was one of my long shots though.
 
I got an ASDOH interview invite today. I won't be taking it, since I got into one of my state schools on Dec.1 . Good luck everyone.

I haven't heard diddly squat from USC and ASDOH, NYU, Maryland, Harvard, Boston, or UoP



I have only done seconadaries for ASDOH in the above mentioned list.


How come ASDOH has rejected others but not me? Is this a good sign? Yes no?

ASDOH admissions advisor said that they are pretty quick with rejections. If you still haven't heard from them, I believe it's a good sign -- that's what they told me few weeks back when I still haven't heard from them. I just waited, and yesterday I heard back from them with an interview invite. good luck!

OMG that's sick. How did you hear about them regarding the interview invite?

Also, if it's by email, can you tell me the subject of the e-mail and who's it from? Maybe it went to my junk mail folder and I need to double check.

title was 'DMD - Interview E-mail' and it was from Azra.
 
UF interview this Friday the 10th...Any advice from people in this situation?? Do they tell you on the spot, do you have to wait? I know their deadline was Dec. 1 for apps

nope, it still says "received/application complete" marked on 10/28/2010.

Are there many schools still giving out post-Dec interviews? I applied late, but I've already had 1 pre-Dec interview (accepted), and 2 rejections. I am wondering whether I still have a chance of getting more interviews.

i think most of them are. especially the big schools accept many students from jan-feb interviewees. probably the january interviews are going out right now.

I haven't heard from ASDOH or UOP either...I'm still waiting to hear back from those schools and Western.

what form did your Western rejection letter come in?

Good luck! I am freaking out... i have my UF interview tomorrow (tuesday) and my stats are pertty low... idk how i landed a UF interview with a 3.0gpa and a 19dat/pat.

idk what to expect though, it is my first interview
 
UoP interview invite this morning! They called and I got lucky because someone had just canceled their 13th of January spot. My AADSAS/UoP website still say under review/re-review in Jan.

Congratulations! how late did you apply and which school did you get accepted to?
 
i got a USN invite invitation on dec 1st, but declined since i got into my top choice earlier that day.
 
Got a call Monday for my first interview at UOP in January! I'm stoked! Marquette and OHSU have said my application is undergoing further review which I hope is a good thing. Still waiting and hoping to hear from UCLA and UCSF...

Im waiting on UOP and UCSF as well. What is your status for UCSF? My status went from received/under review to app complete (once they receive my secondary) then back to under review on Dec 2nd... hmmm:luck:
