Might as well start things rolling, I know there are a few of you that backed out of April's test that can post here too ;)
Post any AAMC, Kaplan, PR or EK full length test scores here, let's see how we progress: (PS,VR,BS)

Let's get the August excitement rolling!

I just took the PS section of kaplan 6. it was so tough, I felt like crying.. but it turned out to be an 11 and after getting a 12 on AAMC 9 PS, I think im ok for the real deal.
good luck everyone!

So I finished AAMC 9 today. I decided not to do Kaplan 9 because AAMC 7 gave me a really good score and I didn't want to ruin that with Kaplan's painful passages. I guess it worked cause I rocked AAMC 9 as well.

Good luck to everyone on Saturday. May Jesus/Allah/Buddha/The Force/a-subtly-hidden-cheat-sheet be with you! :luck:

It sucks that I have to post my dismal scores after this MCAT wonder ahead of me.

I did AAMC 8 today and I am now getting nervous because if these are representative of the real MCAT, I am going to get rocked.

10PS 9VR 12BS

A couple notes....

1) That was the hardest PS I have ever done, harder than anything else I have done thus far. Can anyone confirm or deny whether the real MCAT is moving towards this reading comprehension style - it threw me off when I started doing the PS. I don't think the methods for skimming the passage work as well with this sort of passages.

2) I am still getting used to the new verbal style, the passage readings are harder. I was 1 question from a 10 though, but it seems like last time I got 46/60, it was a solid 10.

3) I feel stuck on 12 for BS...I keep missing the 13 by 1 or 2 questions and it is frustrating. I try to avoid as many organic mistakes as I can, but 1 or 2 seems to creep in there.

So, my test history is...
Kaplan Diagnostic 8PS 9VR 10BS -> 27
Kaplan #1 10PS 7VR 11BS -> 28
Kaplan #2 10PS 8VR 11BS -> 29
Kaplan #3 11PS 10VR 11BS -> 32
Kaplan #4 11PS 11VR 10BS -> 32
AAMC 4R 10PS 10VR 10BS -> 30
Kaplan #5 10PS 7VR 11BS -> 28<--- still shocked by this score
AAMC 5R 12PS 10VR 12BS -> 34
AAMC 6R 11PS 11VR 12BS -> 34
AAMC 7 11PS 7VR 12BS -> 30
AAMC 8 10PS 9VR 12BS -> 31

Notice how my PS has slowly declined...if you are wondering...it is very disheartening...at the onset of this summer, I thought PS was going to be my strongest section....I was wrong.

This is going to sound like I'm full of it, but I'm going to post it anyway because I'm still going nuts!

14 / 12 / 14

I still have 3R left? ...and I was thinking of taking it tommorrow, but I dont know if I should maybe I should just take it easy and review material???

It's said by some here that it's the easiest AAMC practice test. If you've studied enough, I'd say take it for a confidence boost.

Well I finished my last one today, AAMC 9 with 30 ~ 11 PS, 9 VR, and 10 BS. The verbal and bio are really disheartening...especially verbal. I have more to say about that, but I'll say it in the other thread.

I took my last practice test today, and I am really happy :) Hopefully I can do this well on saturday
Here are all my practice test

Good Luck everyone! :D

Here's pretty much a whole summer worth of studying. Wish I had more time and motivation to study but I'm hoping for the best this Saturday. Good luck to y'all.

7/26 AAMC 3R 10/8/10 (28)
7/30 AAMC 7 10/7/10 (27)
8/4 AAMC 4R 11/8/9 (28)
8/8 AAMC 5R 12/8/10 (30)
8/10 AAMC 6R 11/10/9 (30)
8/14 AAMC 8 10/9/11 (30)
8/16 AAMC 9 12/7/11 (30) VR was a b*tch

7/15 Kaplan 1 9/7/8 (24)
7/22 Kaplan 2 10/8/10 (28)
7/29 Kaplan 3 9/10/11 (30)
8/5 Kaplan 4 10/9/10 (29)
8/12 Kaplan 5 8/9/11 (28)

Well i'm rewriting this year after writing last august for the first time. Got a 14/8/11=33(Q) last year, and the 8 in verbal screws me over for a couple of schools up here in canada, so i'm writing to hopefully improve the VR.

Just finished my last practice test today, can't wait to get to saturday and get this thing over with and enjoy my last two weeks of summer.

AAMC 6R - 13/10/12 = 35
AAMC 7 - 14/12/13 = 39
AAMC 8 - 14/9/13 = 36
AAMC 9 - 14/10/14 = 38

anyways, good luck to everyone writing! It'll all be done soon, and then we can all get drunk and erase everything we've studied all summer.

The beast is closing in! Hopefully all this practice will reap some decent results! :oops:

Taken in this order:
Kaplan Diag: 23 7/8/8
Kaplan 1: 30 10/10/10
3r: 27 9/8/10
4r: 28
5r: 32
Kaplan 2: 33
6r: 32
Kaplan 3: 34 12/10/12
7r: 34 12/11/11
Kaplan 4: 30 10/11/9
8r: 30 10/10/10
Kaplan 5: 30 10/9/11
9r: 34 11/10/13

AAMC3R 5/9/8 = 22 (No Studying)
AAMC7R 9/9/10 = 28 (Some Studying)
AAMC6R 9/11/11 = 31 (Alot of Studying)

Tomorrow I shall take the AAMC5R and I hope to get 10/11/11 = 32 and then on the real thing I'd really love to get a 11/12/11 = 34. We shall see...

Took AAMC 6 today. BS had some hard ones.

I'm done with the AAMC ones and was thinking of doing a Kaplan tomorrow, but now I think that I'll just take it easy until Saturday.

Best of luck to everyone!

AAMC 4R.....................27 (10 PS, 8 VR, 9 BS)
Kaplan 2......................27 (10 PS, 8 VR, 9 BS)
AAMC 5R.....................31 (10 PS, 10 VR, 11 BS)
Kaplan 3......................28 (9 PS, 8 VR, 11 BS)

Kaplan 5......................27 (9 PS, 8 VR, 10 BS)
AAMC 8R.....................31 (11 PS, 10 VR, 10 BS)

Last Update:

AAMC 9R.....................33 (12 PS, 9 VR, 12 BS)

Last one for me. VR was gay, probably the hardest VR section I have taken.

Avg score= 30 (Not counting the diagnostic)

Just finished AAMC 7, 37:) my highest yet.
11PS, 12 VR, 14 BS
Man I wish I could have more time to spend on physics:( anyways, verbal seems so random. I think I might take it sat. though I dont think Im going to have time to do AAMC 9.

Yah I just want to get this all over and done with. I'm really tired of studying this stuff. Anyhoo, here's the breakdown of my practice scores (all AAMC).

3R - PS12, VR11, BS 11 , 34
4R - PS10, VR10, BS11, 31
5R - PS11, VR10, BS12, 33
6R - PS11, VR11, BS 12, 34
9 -PS12, VR11, BS12, 35.

So yah if I can get a 35 on the real deal I'll be thrilled. Most of the time I'm one or so questions away from the next score up, on AAMC PT9 for instance, one question in each section made the difference between a 35 and a 38. Now that sucks. Oh well. Good luck all!

Hey everyone,

I just wrote AAMC 9 and I am almost happy with my score.

12PS 10VR 12BS

This is my last AAMC (just do some light review of some physics stuff tomorrow and maybe a couple essays) then do the beast on Saturday.

12PS...I found this PS pretty tough, quite a few little mistakes here and there...I find it sometimes difficult to differentiate between some answers on the verbal-like passages.

10VR...I didn't find this VR as bad as I've found some others...answers were definitely vague but I've realized that intuition typically reigns. I was 1 mark away from 11, but I had to rush through the last passage and ended up with 4 questions wrong :(. I hopefully I can pull a 50+/60 and end up with an 11 or possibly 12.

12BS...again I get this score. I am sooo close to 13 it hurts. I got rocked on a Micro passage near the end and that pretty much brought my from 71 right down to 68. Also, once again, I make my little organic mistake...this, thought I read an alcohol as an alkene, thus my reagents selected to convert it into something else was wrong. I don't think I've EVER made such a mistake, even when taking organic chemistry in school.

I found the sections not that bad, but then it was this test that I finally got used to the change in style of the PS (it had a larger percentage of verbal-like passages)

Test history....

Kaplan Diagnostic 8PS 9VR 10BS -> 27
Kaplan #1 10PS 7VR 11BS -> 28
Kaplan #2 10PS 8VR 11BS -> 29
Kaplan #3 11PS 10VR 11BS -> 32
Kaplan #4 11PS 11VR 10BS -> 32
AAMC 4R 10PS 10VR 10BS -> 30
Kaplan #5 10PS 7VR 11BS -> 28<--- still shocked by this score
AAMC 5R 12PS 10VR 12BS -> 34
AAMC 6R 11PS 11VR 12BS -> 34
AAMC 7 11PS 7VR 12BS -> 30
AAMC 8 10PS 9VR 12BS -> 31
AAMC 9 12PS 10VR 12BS -> 34

So with a score of 34, that could have just as easily been 36, I say good luck to everyone and hope that we can celebrate together after this is all over.

My scores: (PS/VR/BS)
Kaplan Diagnostic: 4/8/6
Kaplan #1: 8/5/7
Kaplan #2: 8/9/7
Kaplan #3: 8/8/6
Kaplan #4: 9/10/7
Kaplan #5: 7/7/9

With my highest score at a 26 and my studying concepts that i didn't get before this week I'm hoping to get near 30 (i.e 28-29). Good Luck,everyone!
