Woohoo! I broke 30!!! 12 PS 10VR 10BS!!! I was actually stressed a lot for time in PS, which hasn't been the case. For those taking 5R, when you get to the phase diagram of water, the temperatue they're stating is NEGATIVE 1 degree centigrade. The minus sign wasn't carried over on the next line typed so I kept reading it as positve 1 degree, confused the hell out of me for a good 3 minutes (I know, leave it and come back later).
I'm glad with my VR score of 10, but I hope I can repeat these results. I really didn't change my way of reading questions. I think it went up because 1) I've had more practice, but more importantly 2) I was really familiar with most of the passages. As usual, there's a passage on something like economics (the degree I have from UF), psychology (my favorite class in high school), etc. The ones I always did bad on were the art/history/literature crap. As in 5R, I missed 5 out of 10 questions on the Picasso part. Hopefully I will get passages on economics and law on the real MCAT! 😀
Biology was much harder for me on 5R than 4R, it stressed a lot more on genetics, which EK didn't go over that much. This is something that a lot here have said the MCAT is focusing more on. Looks like I need to work on genetics more.
