TPR 4931 - 29
AAMC 4R - 30
AAMC 6R - 34 (13,9,12)
AAMC 5R - 35 (12,10,13) did yesterday

Going to take aamc 7 on saturday and i'll be done with tests

this is all kaplan stuff.

diagnostic: 7 PS, 10 VS, 6 BS
FL #1: 9 PS, 12 VS, 8 BS
FL #2: 10 PS, 12 VS, 10 BS
FL #3: 11 PS, 12 VS, 9 BS
FL #4, 10 PS, 13 VS, 9 BS

as you can see, my progress seems to have stagnated.

Those are killer verbal scores exlawgirl! 🙂

Let's see...

aamc 3R (diagnostic) - 8 P, 10 V, 9 B
aamc 4 - 9 P, 11 V, 11 B
aamc 5R - 10 P, 9 V, 11 B
aamc 6R - 9 P, 12 V, 10 B

ek 2 - 7 P, 9 B, 10 B (yuck)
ek 3 - 8 P, 9 V, 10 B
I'm also going to take 7R next week...It's been awhile, and a lot of practice since I toko 6R so I'm hoping to do a bit better...But who knows...Doing the EK tests suck because I do so bad, but I'm trying to keep in mind how much more difficult they're supposed to be.

edit:
aamc 7 - 9 P, 11 V, 11 B

And that concludes my practice tests. Talk about a stagnant score...But I'd be psyched w/ a 31...So here goes nothing 🙂

A little ticked off.

5R 11P, 7 V, 11 B 2 weeks ago
6R 11P, 9V, 10 B (needed 1 more question in bio and verbal to get a point higher 🙄 ) last week
7R 11P, 8V, 11B-took it today

I felt decent after the verbal section of 7r, thought id get at least an 9, but still no luck. 🙁

Here are my Kaplan scores:

FL1: 10 12 13 (6/20)
FL2: 13 13 13 (7/11)
FL3: 14 13 14 (7/18)
FL4: 13 12 13 (7/25)
FL5: 13 12 13 (8/1)

And AAMC:

Kaplan FL #4: PS: 11, VR: 10, BS: 11

Willthatsall, please post ur actual numbers! I know ur scores are amazing cause Ive seen ur posts on the Kaplan thread, but I am curious about what they actually are.

4911 - 8P,9V,11B 5/25
4921 - 10P,8V,10B 6/26
3R - 13P,12V,12B 7/1

6R - 13P,12V,13B 8/1

I am taking 7 next Sunday. I am also going to take 5R, 4951, and tests B & C. Good luck all.

Kaplan tests:

Starting at June 5th:
P , V , B
Diag: 6, 10, 9 25
FL1: 10, 11, 11 32
FL6: 10, 10, 11 31
FL2: 11, 13, 12 36
FL7: 11, 13, 11 35
FL3: 12, 14, 13 39
FL4: 12, 13, 12 37

It seems most Kaplan people get their best score on FL3.

Princeton Review 4911 - 22 (10 BS, 9 PS, 3 VR)
Princeton Review 4921 - 25 (10 BS, 10 PS, 5 VR)
Princeton Review 4931 - 32 (11 BS, 13 PS, 8 VR)
AAMC 5R - 35 (11 BS, 14 PS, 10 VR)

i must say i am quite pleased with my progress in verbal 🙂 good luck to everyone...

Kaplan

fl 1: PS7 VR10 BS7
fl 2: PS7 VR10 BS7
fl 3: PS9 VR12 BS8
fl 4: PS10 VR 11 BS 8

fl5: PS9 VR10 BS9

ok, listen to this crazy score jump......

AAMC 7: 10V, 9P, 9B
AAMC 3R: 11V, 12P, 12B

These tests were taken five days apart!! I am a retaker, and I took Kaplan last summer....got a 10V 8P 9B on the Aug 03 MCAT. I am wondering if I took 3R at Kaplan last summer...I want to think this score is true, but I'm doubting it!

I'm still on waitlists, so I just started studying 2 weeks ago....I really thought I would get accepted, but my 8 seems to be holding me back.

I started sometime in June
P/V/B:

AAMC 3R: 12/11/13
AAMC 4R: 12/12/10
AAMC 5R: 12/11/13
EK 1g: 11/10/12
Kaplan (exam from back of the review book): 15/11/13
AAMC 6R: 13/10/13
Kaplan (2 exams from the practice exam book): 15/10/14, 14/8 😕 /15.

Taking 7R this week.

I think I'mcoming to grip with the fact that I suck at verbal 🙁 I went from 11's to 10's. I did the EK passages, but haven't seen much improvement. usually hover around 10...only occasionally break 11 or 12.

Hi,
3R 7PS, 7BS, 9VR
4R 7PS, 9BS, 7 VR..

Need help from all of the people getting those great scores..

TPR class:

4911: PS: 7 VR: 8 BS: 9
4921: PS: 8 VR: 7 BS: 9
4931: PS: 8 VR: 10 BS: 10

starting tomorrow it's AAMC time! Lets hope i can get the 32 i need for Queens University!

From what I've heard about the TPR tests, a 28 should put you in pretty good position for that score. Good luck.

seriously, I can't believe how many people here are getting med to high 30s consistently, that is sick!

anyways, I just took kaplan FL #7: PS:10, VR: 10, BS: 11

4r: 13 11 13

VR is a tough scale, made a few dumb mistakes and missed an easy one because I couldn't find a quote in the passage. Missed a 12 by 1 question. 👎

That's awful :meanie:

You'll never get into med school that way! [joke!]

Just finished TPR Test C: VR 10 PS 10 BS 12 all three scores are the lowest possible raw point value. So it could easily have been 9 9 11 🙁

went through PS like a speed devil and still couldn't finish.

AAMC 5R: 14 13 13

I didn't miss any VR questions except on the Picasso passage. I didn't think it was that difficult to read, but the questions were confusing. Overall I thought it was harder than 4r, but I was a little bit luckier.

Good lord will you were made for the mcat weren't you! 🙂 Where do you want to go to school for med?

ok, so 4931 looked like this: 8 10 10
and I did AAMC 7 today, it looked like this: 11 9 10.

PS i'm happy with, the only ones i got wrong were the gen. chem that i still have to review but whats with the stagnant bio score? I found 7 had a lot of orgo in it.

I also think that my verbal went down because during the 10 minute break, i walked from my house to the nearest coffee shop, and did verbal in there to work on my concentration skills. That was a bad idea.

A 32 on THAT test??? 😱

I don't think you have a THING to worry about for the real deal.

Taking a kaplan course.. here are my stats (in chronological order)

Diag: 9, 7, 8 = 24
FL1: 9, 11, 10 = 30
FL2: 9, 9, 10 = 28
FL6: 11, 10, 7 = 28 (omitted 28 on BS b/c center was closing)
FL3: 12, 10, 11 = 33
AAMC IV: 10, 10, ?? = 20+?? (skipped BS)
FL4: 10, 11, 11 = 32
FL7: 8, 9, 10 = 27 (WTF!! hope it was an isolated incident!)
AAMC VI: 12, 9, 12 = 33
FL5: 11, 9, 11 = 31 (added 8/7)
AAMC VII: (Next week...)

Talk about fluctuations.. 6 point difference between my last two tests!

just took 5r. 12,10,10

i am still in awe about the 10 in verbal... haven't scored about a 7 on any exam so far....yea, the picasso passage was brutal.

The last practice test I took was 3 weeks ago...

AAMC 3R PS10 VR12 BS9 Composite: 31

Before that I'd been taking non-AAMC tests I was buying at the local bookstore... 22, 18, 24 in that order, 1 week intervals.

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't done much studying... so tomorrow when I take AAMC 7... I'm almost afraid to see the results! Ugh! I'm crossing my fingers hoping I'll break 30... is AAMC 7 a good predictor of the real thing?

My confidence level is down... and I don't think it will recover if I get less than a 30 tomorrow. :: sigh :: I'll report back tomorrow.

Good luck everyone!

3R is a hell of a lot easier. That could explain the score diff.

Wilthatsall,
stop scaring people with your freakin scores. 👍 I am proud of you man! 😀

I'm just continuing to pray that all my luck doesn't evaporate on test day.

MCAT 8/03- PS:7 VR:12 BS: 10 29Q

Kaplan tests:
Diag- PS:7 VR:12 BS: 9 28

FL #1- PS:9 VR:12 BS:9 30

FL #2- PS:9 VR:13 BS:12 34

FL #3- PS:9 VR:13 BS:10 32

FL #4- PS:7 VR:12 BS:9 28 🙁

FL #5- PS:9 VR:12 BS:10 31 👍

I'm glad I went back up on the last test, I was really worried after FL #4. But I'm still not sure if I'll retake--my PS scores have generally improved, but I wonder if it's worth holding up my app for the Aug MCAT just to go up maybe 2 points or so. 😕 I'm leaning towards retaking though, since I already spent all the $$ for Kaplan and I'm a little worried that the 7 in PS will keep me out of some schools, so it might be worth it if I can bring that up. I'm going to take AAMC 7 on Tues, that will probably be the deciding test for me. Good luck to all! :luck:

3R 7, 9, 7
4r 7, 7, 9
5R 8, 9, 10.
Hoping to go over 30 on 6r and 7r.
Amy

7R - yesterday
10VR, 9PS, 9BS

6R - last week
8VR, 11PS, 10BS

Go figure.....

4911 7B 6V 6P 19
4921 8B 6V 7P 21
4931 9B 6V 8P 23
7R 11B 8V 11P 30
4R 10B 10V 10P 30
6r 11B 10V 12P 33 <---- Yesterday

It's been a long road but I am certainly pleased with my progress!! And to all those that fear verbal, dont by into the talk that you can't improve it. I'm proof that if you do passages out the *ss it is certainly possible! Good luck to all come the 13th.

Peace

Man, is the test on Saturday the 14th? I feel bad for everyone who has to live through Friday the 13th just to run into an even worse day the next day

Seriously, though, good luck to you guys one last time. I'm going to be out of town, so I wish you well now! :luck:
