Just leave it blank. If it doesn't accept the empty field then write Not Applicable.

Does anyone know where and how to upload essay for PNWU?

In LECOM's secondary, is it fine if we leave the ACT/SAT scores blank? I don't remember my scores at all.

you can look them up on college board. thats what I did.

I'm starting school this upcoming week so I'll be busy. I'm not actively looking through the specific threads for questions. If you have them then please send them to me.

Why are DO secondaries such beasts compared to MD secondaries? Anyone else notice that?

TUCOM - Touro California

Can you tell me where you got essay prompts for Touro California? My secondary application does not have any for Touro California. Thank you

Edit: Not just the two essay prompts but the other questions, I don't have any of those in my application

Someone PMed those to me.

Can those getting secondaries from schools not listed on the first post pass along secondary prompts please? 🙂

So, for WesternU-Pomona, they ask what your most memorable community service activity was. I haven't done any community service, unless shadowing/volunteering in hospitals counts... ???

Is it a bad idea to repeat some of your personal statement for the secondary app?

Is it a bad idea to repeat some of your personal statement for the secondary app?

I don't think it's bad, as long as you don't rewrite the exact same thing. Such as elaborating on an experience you have had. Tailor your answers to the question being asked, if something in your PS is relevant than of course use it, but be sure to further explain it as it pertains to the question.

Any updates on the secondaries? I'm submitting my primary this week and want to pre-write my secondaries so that I'm not as far behind as I am right now. Sounds like I'll have about 6 weeks to do so :bang:. Is there somewhere else that lists the secondary prompts that I should know about? You guys are great!

Rowan's Secondary APP asks what my professional interest is then gives some examples (family med, surgery, etc)

this seems like a straightforward question that can be answered in one or two sentences, but the word limit is 500. are they expecting me to explain why i chose these specialties?

Yes, its best to explain why.

Also, its good to read of others a little late in the cycle still getting in secondaries. Good luck!

Contrary to what someone else replied above, I don't think you need to explain. I simply wrote Family Medicine. That's it.

In AACOMAS there's an option to upload evaluation letters/LORs. If I'm using interfolio, how do I submit that material? Also, should I submit ALL of my LORs? Do I even need to submit any LORs for the primary application? I thought it really mattered sending in LORs for the secondary application.
The reason being is because I plan on applying EARLY and I don't anticipate a LOR from a DO physician until late June, so I'm predicting I won't get the LOR until I begin sending in my secondary applications.

For those who have already applied in previous cycles, what do you have to say/recommend?

Hello,

If you're using Interfolio, use the interfolio website to send your letters to school. How many LOR's you send is up to you. Schools have requirements and I suggest you follow the specific requirements.
There is only one application for podiatry schools; no secondary applications. So the schools need your LORs with your application.
I hope this helps.

Great! Thanks for responding. I'll be applying mainly to DO schools (don't know if that'd make a big difference), but when should I send in my LORs if I should email it from Interfolio to the school? Email them when I submit my primary apps, or when I receive and complete my secondary apps?

Wrong thread.

Some of the essays have character limits. Does it include space or not?

Thanks!

Anyone have Rocky Vista's secondaries? I have all the prompts I am looking for but BCOM and RVUCOM's secondaries! Thanks everyone

Did any schools start sending out secondaries? I only got an email from Marian stating that they would review my app to see if I was eligible for a secondary

BCOM's is floating around one of these boards. I think someone posted a link to it in the school specific thread.

When these essays have a 500 word limit, how many words do you guys usually write? I just dont see how you can write 500 words for some of these prompts. Thats like 3 whole paragraphs.
