I am new to SDN and very impressed with the amount of information available on it.

I was wondering about people who received an invitation to interview at Ohio State. How did you find out about it? I checked my status page today and noticed it said call the admissions office and was wondering if that was the message you received on your status page.

I am hoping that it really is to schedule an interview and not because there is a problem with my application.

I will call on Monday but don't want my hopes up to high until I hear some feeback.

When i checked it actually had a link to an interview date, and when i clicked on it i had a choice to confirm it.

Thanks very much for your feedback. Oh well, maybe I will need to wait for an interview. I figured it was too good to be true! I re-took the MCAT in August so I should be more patient....

I received an email this Thursday saying that the status of my application had changed. I knew it could be one of two things: rejection or interview. I logged into the site and saw the interview invite. I had to confirm the interview date. But there was nothing about having to call the admissions office.

I think you will get an email from OSU anytime something "major" happens to your application.

Don't they give you a chance to talk to someone to schedule your own interview date?

I didnt bother to call the school, but I suppose you could. They just gave me a date and i had a choice of yes, no please change, or withdraw application. I figure what was the point of choosing no, and ending up with another crappy date.

I live 3 states away though, and I'm not in Ohio that often. Do they interview over Thanksgiving?
