Wow. I havn't heard back from OSU ever since I turned in the supplemental, and that was close to a month and a half now.

I received mine on Friday, Feb 29. The letter was typed on the 25th and mailed on the 27th. I still haven't sent in the $225 deposit fee..I would give them a call to see where things are.
Has anybody started looking for housing yet? Any idea? I will be coming from California.

Have you started looking any where?? Hopefully I can get an apartment in a nice area 10-15 mins away..I'll actually be starting there in the summer since I am missing two classes: first part of anatomy and analytical chemistry. Is anyone else also missing any courses?? I hope I'm not the only one.
hi guys, osu has a off campus housing website and you can go on it and search for apartments. most of the apartments listed on there are close to campus, usually within walking distant, but i don't know how many of them are still available since most students started looking for housing in january...but it's still a good resource 🙂 for nicer places that are further away from campus, i just used some apartment search websites i found through google

I'll be coming from Dallas...a very looong drive. So have you already sent it the deposit?? I'll be mailing mine out first tomorrow morning via express mail just to make sure they get it befor the 17h 😀. Have you started looking for an apartment or will you be staying on campus??

Are you the Berkeley girl interviewed on March 1st? like diabetes research? I was interviewed at the same day, the Asian girl from Iowa. Do you remember me? I remembered Heather said they always make decisions in a week. I sent Joe an email this morning and still wait for his reply. So Nervous!!!

I was there on March 1st also (the only Floridian). I got my acceptance email last Thursday. Good luck, I hope you both get in!

there are so many different apartments around OSU campus.
You can check osu offcampus living website, it offer you a lot of useful information and you can search for housing, look for roommate too.
Also, u can drive around OSU campus to find apartment.
Check city-date.com to find out the nice area and shady area around OSU.

Hey, does anyone know what types of rotations are available in the 4th year? I am trying to decide between two programs. and also, does anyone have any idea what a normal amount of loans is for a college of pharmacy student? OSU is more expensive for me, but I like it a lot better so I'm trying to decide what to do. Thanks!
Wow, finally got an invite today after two months of waiting. I'm thinking I might go to visit relatives or just for the sake of it even though I've already gotten accepted into Arizona. Did anyone else wait this long before they got an invite? I didn't think OSU had rolling admissions.

I was thinking of applying to ohio state in 2 years, but i had several questions. These might be better to ask an academic advisor but:
What do most people get their degrees in prior to applying there?
Do they place much emphasis on volunteering, leadership, etc?
Does applying early significantly help your chances?
And finally my gpa is currently sitting at about 3.41 after completing pre-pharmacy at a different school, but i plan on transfering to ohio state this coming fall - do you think such a gpa would put me in bad standing and would finishing off my degree there first help at all?

Chem, Biology, science related, some ppl hold liberal arts degrees.

Is it true that after 8:30AM no parking lot available?
and what kind of parking pass would you suggest buying?

I think the lot that most pharm students use is the "C" lot caddy corner from parks hall on 12th and cannon. Other than that you could park in a garage (I think its more expensive and garages fill up because of the med center), or another surface lot somewhere farther from parks hall.
Since the lot close to parks hall is the best option for many health related professional students I think its somewhat true that it can be really hard to find a spot.
I think you should just buy a C pass if your set on driving. It's one of the cheapest passes available, although as a former undergrad I know nothing comes cheap at this school.

I got a couple of apartments in mind. I'm going to see the apartments at the end of May. I'm looking at the Brewery District. There are apartments called Brewers Yard that looked promising. I also like the Island Club, I think these are located in the Grandview/Upper Arlington area. These also look very nice. I will probably end up choosing between either of these two based on price and distance from campus.
I got into OSU and I am from UCI - California ....
I am glad there will be people from Southern Cali there 😎

So far, my plan is to stay on Campus for the 1st few months while I look for a reliable car... But I am not sure.. I am still kinda lost..
