K sorry that was supposed to say: What do people have to say about OHSU? is it extremely rural? and is there any chance a california resident could get in?

What do you mean by extremely rural? There's an OHSU 2008-2009 thread you can look over. Several Californians got in this year and they usually accept about 30% of the class from Out of State. It's much more difficult to do so, however, like any other state school that favors residents.

Uhh...it is in Portland...so...yeah not rural at all.
Also, OHSU is one of the most OOS friendly "state schools"
Other than that, there are a TON of reasons why I dislike OHSU, but there are also reasons that I like it (mostly based on location because I love Portland). If you have any other questions PM me and I will give you my honest opinion.
