Anyone know if admission committees looks down on old letter of recs? I graduated in 2001, so all my letters are dated 2000/2001 and for last couple of years...i've been working full time at a not-for-profit health organization.

thanks for your input.

I don't think so, but if you're a reapplicant, you may need new or updated LOR's.

Some schools say that lor have to be less than a year old. A lot of schools also say that if you have been out of school for more than a year, you have to have at least one letter from a supervisor at work. YMMV, though, so check with your office of admission.

The newer the better. Alot of schools say none older than 2 years.

I applied with 2 new letters and 3 old ones. My old ones were 2 years old.
