I took the MCAT in august of 2003. I'm wondering if any of you know if it will still be valid at most schools for the 2005-2006 application cycle (fall 2006 matriculation). Thanks

Yep, it will be good for a few years. I also just applied with my MCAT from 2001. Just check with the schools you are interested in and find out what they require.
If you will apply for entering 2006 (I am in the same boat w/ an August 2003 MCAT), you are safe. Most schools take MCATs within three years of your matriculation (note that's matriculation year rather than application cycle year).
