I think Mayo and Cornell provide salaries all six years (this is correct right?). I also know that UPenn offers a stipend to cover your tuition-not sure if it's all of it though. Any more to that list?

Louisville does.

San Antonio you get like 22k per year during med school (tuition is 16k).

Gainesville I believe you get a stipend while in med school. Can't remember if it completely covers it.

UMMC (Mississippi) gives you a 20k "scholarship" during med school

OHSU doesn't give salary for year 2 or 3 (med school years), but does pay for medical school.

We get paid half of a PGY 1 during M2, half PGY2 during M3, and 80% of a PGY 3 in M4.

Residents now get to pay in state tuition all 3 years at about 32k per year.

There are typically 4-5k per year "scholarships" that the department gives to the PGY 1 and 2 residents that aren't mentioned at all anywhere b/c they aren't guaranteed. I got them both years.

Overall, it's about break even to get an MD here, except for living expenses and opportunity cost of 2 years of practice.

UT Southwestern/Parkland does not provide a stipend while in medical school. The medical school is very reasonable at $17k/yr (automatic in-state for OMFS), and there are a few grants for T/A-ing anatomy, academic performance, etc. Also during the first 3 years of residency you spend about 10 months on different services (OMFS/ENT/Anesthesia) for which you are paid PGY-1 salary during those months.

University of Michigan also pays for 1/2 of Med school tuition on 2nd and 3rd year. Other 4 years you get paid full salary.

so these schools (UIC, Michigan, NYU etc) pay a portion or all of med school while additionally paying you a full PGY salary all years even during med school?
Michigan does not pay you during med school. NYU does because you take call. Not sure about UIC.
