OMG...Part II retake today was HARD!!!!

My retake today was soooo hard!! I can't believe how difficult it was. There were so many Pt Management, pedo, perio question I had no idea what the answer was. I know some people got a version where there were lots of repeats but unfortunately that wasn't me.

I'm so scared now. Will I pass? If I don't I won't graduate this month and will have to stay in school until August AND lose my GPR spot. This is CRAZYYYY

Did anyone who retook the exam get my version?

Sorry to hear fishey - but here's the "dealio":
There is NOTHING you can do at this point, worrying won't get you anywhere... I know, I know.... it's hard but.... you can try really hard to just relax until you get your scores. I felt the EXACT same way, I felt my exam was crazy hard w/some off the wall ?s I'd never heard of and some words that almost read like a different language. I did happen to graduate late and i felt horrible about it, but hey, it all worked out in the end... not the way I would have wanted to, but it's all good now. Keep your fingers crossed and have faith, do keep us updated. Wish you the best of luck!!

Did you have to pay more tuition or just wait out the 90 days for the next exam period and study??

Fortunately I didn't have to pay more tuition, so yes, I had to wait it out until I passed.

since u had a hard version, what was ur score? could u get less answers right to pass?

I dont' remember my scores but yes, it seemed on my test the # of ?s I got right seemed lower than what everybody else was getting so I didn't have to score that high to pass it.

I need some help. Do anyone of you know thru yourself/friends/family etc..that after U wait for 1 yr..and reappear..IS IT A FRESH START? i.e. Just like giving for the FIRST TIME EVER..or is it that JCDE keeps in record of the prior failure scores/versions and accordingly presents a "different" version (probably more difficult or easy one).

I was in the impression that Prior scores get voided after 3-4 failed attempts..thats why they let u wait for 1 yr plus more time to study...Please help..Thanks in advance

No I dont' remember but for me day 2 was much better and really helped me out. I think I scored between 71-75 on the second day, so I was happy that the second day was much more reasonable than the first. Again, good luck and don't sweat it!

This was one of the most common complaints I heard from many of my classmates when we all took part 2. Some of those questions were just ridiculous given the supporting information (or should I say lack of) that was provided. How can you ask a question about a tooth when only half of the tooth even appears on the radiograph??? 😕

Me and my friend also took it last week of April. The test was hard.
But cannot complain about x rays. They were o.k.
still waiting for test results. Hopefully should do o.k.

i got my results today and i PASSED!!!! Got an 83 - super surprised since i came out the 1st day thinking it was the worst day ever.
