So I called Drexel this morning to ask about a note on my status page that says "Need transcript" and the conversation went something like this:
"Hi. I'm calling to check on my status page. It says I need to send a transcript. What does that mean since I'm verified by AMCAS?"
"I've never heard of that before. I guess you better send a transcript."
"Is there a way to check the status of my specific application to see if this is some kind of mistake since you've never heard of it before and other people aren't having this problem?"
"No. Just send in a transcript. Alternately, you can email our webmaster because I don't know what's going on."
Wtf? Is anyone else still having this problem? I know medical schools are slammed with requests for information right now, but certainly if it's a unique request couldn't the person on the phone check it out instead of just being dismissive? I really don't want to wait (and pay again - they're expensive!) to have all of my transcripts sent to Drexel again after already being verified, when this isn't a normal occurrence.
