hey-
this ? has probably been addressed in the past but i can't find the thread. is there a way for MDs to learn some OMM. I'm an MD and I have some interest. Are there workshops or anything like that?

I've heard of places like Harvard offering CME in OMT to MDs. You might also want to check with some DO schools, as they may either teach OMT CME, or they may offer to train you in OMT, if you help teach it to their students later. At my school, there are at least two MDs that have been taught OMT, and help teach lab sessions in addition to their normal duties (one of them actually knows what he's doing). I've heard of a few more of these "MDOs" (hmm, what would we call them if that's what our name is changed to?) out in practice in rural areas of Virginia.

Most CEs in OMT are open to anyone holding a valid US physicians license.

I would suggest contacting your states Osteopathic Association for more information.
