OMS, Medical Certificate and referrals from MD's

Hello Doctors !
>May I ask if OMS without MD degree are allowed to write a Medical Certificate for patients or they only write or do a Dental certificate ?

I was worried about this too. I finish in a few months and was planning on doing all my certificate referral planning early to make sure that the certification process for certificates don't go straight to the ENT bc they have the MD certificate.

The MD OMFS is not available in our country . OMS with a single degree is more common. This amazing surgical specialty is not yet well known in the Philippines. Except for the Big cities. 6 years of dentistry and 4 years of OMFS is a no joke. I'm proud of this specialty and I would go for it if given a chance in the future
