Hi everyone! So I have a massive pile of MCAT books and I know that it's not feasible to go through all of them before my April 28 test date.

I was thinking of doing 5 weeks of thorough content review using TPR, followed by 1 week of EK content review. By content review, I mean reading TPR (PS and BS) cover-to-cover twice and EK (PS and BS) cover-to-cover once. In the remaining 7 weeks, I was planning on drilling as many TBR passages as possible and completing the EK 101 passages book using EK strategy. Also, my TPR class gives me access to 19 FLs including the AAMCs so I was hoping to do as many of those as possible (at least 8 hopefully). I am planning on studying ~30 hours a week until April 28.

Here is the material that I don't think I will have time for: TBR content review, EK 1001s, TPR verbal review, TPR science workbook, TPR verbal workbook. Is it unwise of me to neglect these books?

Does my study plan sound viable? Feel free to completely tear apart and restructure my study plan. I would really appreciate any advice!

I have no experience with TPR science content books, so I can't help you there. I will say that TPR verbal hyperlearning book is orders of magnitude better than EK101, or TBR for that matter.

Well, I used SN2ed's schedule, which had me taking 3 VR passages every day I studied and rotating between TBR, EK, and TPRH. Eventually I just stopped using the EK and TBR because I was only getting frustrated with them. After that I just rotated through a few TPRH passages a few times a week. I honestly didn't hit the verbal that hard towards the end of my prep as I was getting plenty from my FLs, so I even had some TPRH passages left over, but I can't vouch for that as a practice strategy. 🙂

Although this may be true, EK101 is still quality practice material for the VR section. The only proven way to do well on VR is LOTS of practice, so don't ignore any of the limited, good practice materials that are available to you.
