Once e-submit, can we have LOR's emailed or mailed only?

Hi,

Once we e-submit our AADSAS application, can we still have our recommenders email their letters to AADSAS, or must they send it by snail mail?

I am trying to decide if I should have them email or mail the letters.

Also, we are allowed to change the names of our recommenders provided they haven't sent the letters to AADSAS right?

thank you for your help.

Thanks for your reply. =)

I was also wondering if there is any preference for how our letters should be submitted? I would rather submit my letters electronically because it's faster and I dread the possibility of having my paper letters get lost if sent by mail.

But it also seems more official to have a paper letter b/c there would be a signature versus not having one by email. But, one way to go around it would I guess be to ask my recommenders to sign the letter then scan it and then email it, which seems like a whole lot to ask of them, so I don't think I will do that.

So, what is the best way to send them in, and do dental schools have a preference?

Thanks.
