Ondansetron tablet crushed vs ondansetron ODT

If both are given SL is there a difference in how they are metabolized? I understand ODT is absorbed in the floor of the mouth so it bypasses the liver metabolism but wouldn't this also happen with a crushed ondansetron tablet put under tongue?

My knowledge is very shaky on this topic, but I don't think your saliva can break down something that is formulated to withstand your stomach's acid, unless you have a way of removing all that expedient stuff (which you can't do with just simple grinding)

Do you think this is referring to the ondansetron SL film product and not the ODT? Thanks for the correction.
