I had a thought today about sticking with my current online school (AMU) to obtain my degree. I'm currently in the Army and have been using AMU to knock out general ed (not med school) requirements so that I have some basic classes knocked out before I get out of the Army.

My original plan was to transfer to SPC in Florida and eventually transfer to USF and complete a B.S. I'd expect to have almost a year of gen ed work done that will transfer without any problems. Today I was looking at the degrees at AMU and realized that I could complete a B.A. (for example in Psychology) much faster, maybe in just over one year. The reason it would be so fast is because I received a ton of credit in electives from my military training as an LPN. I could then take all of the med school pre-reqs at a normal brick and mortar school like USF. I was just wondering if the degree from AMU would look bad, I don't exactly plan on going to Harvard btw.

The way I saw it the pros were it would be faster and relatively easy to maintain my current 4.0.

I'm worried about the online degree looking bad though. I would be taking all the pre-reqs at a reputable school though. Just wondering what your opinions on this are before I even begin to seriously consider it.
