So, I graduated with a BS from a 4-year university several months ago. To make a long story short, I made a career change to Dental after graduation. I have taken all the relevant prereq's except for Biochemistry.

Now, it seems that not having taken Biochem severely limits me. I've looked through various ways to solve this problem...

It's preferable but it seems near impossible (and pricey) for me to catch a class at my former school.

As for any local CC's, it seems like they do not offer Biochemistry!

Finally, I looked into online courses. Schools like Michigan State, Colorado State, and UC Berkeley offers this. Would this be a completely bad idea?
:eyebrow:

The online biochem option is also great for me because I'm already balancing a full-time job and dentist shadowing. What would you guys do in my situation??

I think it depends on where you are looking to apply. You could contact the schools you want to apply to and ask if the online class meets their requirement. Some schools will not accept online coursework for their prerequisites.
