apparently i'm missing microbiology as a prerequisite, and my school said online courses are accepted. i tried looking for some, but i only found one that i could take before august. i enrolled in Rio Salado in arizona, but i found out that i might have to actually drive there to take the exams in person. problem is i'm from california.

does anyone recommend any online courses that don't require going to take an exam in person? or those in southern california at least?

check out university of south dakota. They offer distance learning courses and since they have a medical school, more than likely you'll find what you need. I am currently taken a human physiology class and is not too bad!

rio salado is soooo hard. just a fair warning. you are going to work VERY VERY VERY EXTREMELY 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000x harder in a Rio class versus it being offered elsewhere. I know a few people who've taken classes through them and absolutely regret it because there is just so much work involved. Of course, there's nothing wrong with working hard, but make sure you find a good instructor since micro will be intense online. You're correct in saying they require in person exams and quizzes .... maybe you can have them proctored at a location near you though? Best of luck anyways and don't stress too much. Just one more pre-req to go🙁

Have you looked at Ocean County Community College?
