I matched at a top 20 Cali DR PGY2 position starting July 2026. I am very serious and open about switching/swapping with another matched applicant at a reputable program in the Northeast (NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, DC, Baltimore), the Midwest (Ann Arbor, Chicago), and Durham. I have no friends or family in Cali, but plenty of connections and family on the opposite side of the country, which is really important to me for my partner and my training.
