I'd like to buy an operative guide to use on my ortho AIs so I have some idea what is going to happen with the procedure before I'm standing in the OR. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should get? Thanks.
Most of what you'll get asked is anatomy and whatnot. Read this:
Surgical Exposures in Orthopaedics: The Anatomic Approach, 3rd Edition
Stanley Hoppenfeld, Piet Deboer, Hugh A. Thomas (Illustrator)
Hardcover / 650 Pages / Lippincott Williams & Wilkins / October 2003 / 0781742285
That's all you need. It's expensive though and most libraries have it.
Have fun on your AIs,
