I'm confused. It looks like everyone's getting wrecked year after year.......but where's the missing spots going?
I imagine if one group's acceptance rates go down, another groups would go up.
Why's everyone going down whether MD, DO, IMG?

Because the total number of applicants keeps going up. Actual participants went from 635 to 677 to 748. As both DO and MD student enrollment climbs the numbers will get worse because the increase in Ophthalmology spots is less than the increase in medical students.
